Which headset should i buy

My last headset was the logitech g930 wireless. I loved it so much, wireless headset, could walk all around my house and skype wouldn't drop out, great battery life, comfortable, then 2 months after purchase the outlet charging thing inside the headset became loose and i could never charge it again and so its just a paperweight sitting in my desk.

I was wondering if you guys could reccomend me either a cheap - good - wireless headset, or tell me what the new version of the g930 is. I assume logitech would of came out with a newer and better version by now.

I'm thinking i should buy the blizzard alliance/horde wireless gaming headset. They're outdated which means they're cheap but they were good quality too.

Thoughts?

Do you really need wireless OP? You can get far better headphones + clipon/desktop mic for the same price.
I personally use Audio-Technica AD-700s, sound better then any gaming headset ive used so far.

 

Thanks. You know what? Screw logitech and screw expensive headphones. I have bought 3 seperate $200+ headphones and they have all broken within >3 months of usage. Then i bought a $15 headset and it lasted a year until i gave it away.

I'll probably just invest on a crappy one thats on sale.

Only real downside to my setup (other than having the modmic separate) is that sennheiser isn't really known for bass, which you usually want while gaming.

 

Just buy one on Ebay. I got my HD 598's for $150 on ebay half a year ago. Cheap, no issues, and sound great.

 

if you gonna buy on ebay make sure you buy from a legitimate seller as theres lots of fake stuff so better to spend few extra bucks and be sure that you own the original version.

 

I have a set of Roccat Kave 5.1, and I LOVE THEM!
They sound really good (I'm not an Audiophile, but I have used some nice headsets), but the full power is released when you get a sound card (Which, sadly, I don't have) as they are real 5.1, and not Dolby/Software driven 7.1...
You can get the AD700+A nice mic for the best performance.
Little rant: The Roccat headset has an issue (I don't blame the headset, but it could've been better, you know...) so, after a "little accident" the right ear became "loose", I don't how to describe them exactly but they are still usable, now I sent them to the store to see if they can fix it.
BTW, I love the sound control thing on it, I can basically control lots of stuff, like the center sound/rear/front... and the BASS! It has a movie/game mode which to me, is useless, I never change it.
EDIT: They said they won't fix it because it's my fault...
