not going to lie this is kinda f'ed up messing with some one's art work/design. you should go back to the person you bought it from. an koolestkid it is kinda dirty to do this, its just an designer code you should follow.
and btw he could sew you for this cuz technicality your are taking his design and re selling it.

What if this guy tried to get in contact with the person who made it but he has just been completely ignoring him?
Because the person who made this only needs 2 seconds to change the colour.

 

He's not modifying the artwork in any way. I guess he simply wants to use it on another forum, and he wants his signature to be transparent. Simply editing the background (where there is no artwork in the background) is (I think) allowed.

 

It's hard to make the background transparent for those kind of animated signatures with a lot of particles flying around because .gif is one retarded file type

 

True, but changing the background is pretty easy.

 

He has no legal means to sue. If the image has been given to the poster of this thread he now has the copyright and is giving consent for the image to be altered.

 

i know he is just changing the background color but its just a thing a designer should not do. if you dont understand that you should not be a designer.
(btw im not saying dont do it im just saying its the wrong thing to do)

 

The designer that did this is not very active on sythe now and has chosen to ignore all requests to do so. In no way am I reselling or buying new artwork.. I just want to put it to work somewhere else since I can't use it here.
