You've probably heard this in movies before and such and haven't thought much of it, probably thought it was a nice quote to make a movie more bad ass, but there is such an addiction.

I'm addicted to a life of crime

"As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster." - Henry Hill

This thread is for aid and opinions of my future.

Btw, before I start, just know that I'm not a threat to the community. I don't use the market section, I only use the Spam Forum to uphold my Certified Faggotry rank. I have no interest in scamming as that's not how I operate.

    ---------------------------------------

My thoughts revolve around crime. By crime, I don't mean rape, gang bang, drugs, or anything that drastic, but around money. I'm tied to organized crime, not those street hoodlums you see robbing a 7-Eleven, I'm not tattoo'd from head to toe like the faggot rappers of nowadays, or any of that stereotypical shit. More like a typical Italian mobster. All movements are planned and executed correctly. I have never been convicted, been caught several times, but have won all the court cases, and some didn't even go to court due to lack of evidence. The way I see it is:

"Crime pays if you're nice with yours" - Big Pun

I can get a job, but I don't find pleasure in working at a set schedule at a set salary and shit like that. I have graudated from High School, school just does not appeal to me, I'm not Straight F, I can maintain a 2.0 - 3.0 GPA by trying half-ass, but I can't put effort into anymore because it just does not appeal to me. I am continuing onto college just to keep my parents off my back, but I feel like I'll always be tied to criminal thoughts. Everytime the conversation of money comes to my mind, it's tied to crime. If any form of making money comes to my mind or up in a conversation, my mind slowly travels into criminal thoughts. Please get a few things straight once again before posting:

    I don't gang-bang
    I don't do gun-point robbery
    I don't rape
I don't do drugs in any form (use, sell, buy)

I am in my late teenage years and I'm well off for someone my age, I can flaunt jewelry people my age usually can't, I can flaunt my car people my age usually can't unless they work at Starbucks or something and even then, it's not comparable to my car, I get respect around people in my town when I'm around the streets speaking with others that people my age usually don't because of the way I carry myself and dress myself, etc. I'm not stating all this to show off, but to show you how tied and dedicated I am mentally.

Basically, as much as a man thinks of sex every 7 seconds, I think of sex too, but crime as well. My mind is never at ease, I'm always paranoid for the quickest cash income or paranoid because there's always business to be dealt with (cops, loud mouths, etc)

The point of this thread is...

I fear for my future because even if I am to become a legitimate businessman or person later on in life....I'm almost certain at this age that I will associate crime into my life even if it's not needed, just because it's my nicotine that most people get from cigarettes, I get from crime.

My question, in a more narrow sense...

Should I be worried about this behavior/habit I've built? What should I fear in the future? What's a fix for this if I ever decide I need to move on?

Feel for ya bro, I used to be somewhat like that. No offense intended or anything like that, but you just need to mature already. All of that seems like lots of fun and everything, being able to avoid responsibilities, having a life that you'd think 'everyone' would want since you don't have to work, etc...

A time will come where you will realize, you just have to move on already. Things like this WILL chase you, and when you start thinking about your future you'll come to notice you could potentially fuck up your life over a couple of years of enjoyment. Not worth it imo.

Cut any relationships you might have with people who do that as well, since constantly talking with others who keep doing so won't help at all. You'll just be even more anxious to do something else and the point is to stop already. It sucks I know, I lost quite a few pretty awesome friends but I hope someday they'll fucking grow up already too, and perhaps we can resume the friendship we had. But I honestly want no link to that anymore, nor should you.

Do let you know, it isn't gonna be easy, but in the long run it's well worth it.

    1. Mate you are in the wrong 'era' to be a gangster, 30-40 years ago sure when the police had no hi-tech gadgets to catch people.

Now it's only a matter of time before you get arrested and jailed

but maybe that will be good for you 1 trip to jail you will see crime doesn't pay, and hopefully that will deter you from going down that route

Keep doing what you're doing till you get caught and get sent to jail. You wont change until you get sick of your life and want change so until then do what you do best without thinking of the repercussions and live the thug life.

I agree fully with Matresa, this sounds more like a "phase" and you really need to grow up. You need to see what you're doing and just think about the future like you're already worrying about, you say you're smart and you got high scores in high school then do something about that, get a job, and I can guarantee if you're really that smart you can score a job that pays A LOT more than a life of crime will.

I never said I'm smart, I just said I'm not a typical person who does crime and doesn't care about their school work. Also, crime pays more than any job someone my age can get, maybe when I'm 25 or 30 it would be different, but right now someone my age can't get anything better than a minimum wage job and that's like $700 a month, I've managed to make $700 in just 3 hours of work before. So, you can see why I'm not appealed to being legitimate when the opposite is just so much easier.

Someone your age can also live off a smaller pay cheque. Money doesn't buy happiness, it buys arrogance and this false sense of financial security. You'll either fall on your face or end up in bigger trouble you can handle with some other.. people in the industry so to speak.

Stop what you're doing and contribute to the society the rest of us pay for before it's too late and you're in over your head with real criminals in a jail cell. You say you've never been caught because you're good at what you do, arrogance will make you sloppy and the addiction will have you acting criminally more frequently, you're bound to mess up soon enough.

Completely agree with Roary. Hopefully this is a phase you can grow out of.

No, you misunderstood. I NEVER let money control me, that's one thing people who know me like about me. I'm always very giving, I've easily handed out a few bills ($100) to several peeps, I've offered to buy multiple things for people who are flat broke, I've done wonders when it comes to money for someone my age. I'm never arrogant, I'm just very observant. Why I haven't been caught, in my eyes, is because I'm VERY careful about my steps. Before a procedure is done, everything is looked through very carefully, exits, surveillance, ANYTHING that can put a hole in. And it's all planned weeks to months ahead of time with other insiders who know the area.

Hoping it's not a real addiction and just a young-persons phase.

So you understand that when you're 25-30 it could be different but if you keep up this life of crime it's going to be no different and a prison cell is going to be your real home. Just think about your future because I know that's all I worry about, I really hope you see that this may be a great source of money for the short run, but for the long run it'll ruin your whole life.

I'd say keep at it. fuck is the point of trying to settle down when you're 30 something anyway? Just to marry some woman who'll eventually become your mortal enemy in 10 years, then divorce you and take half of what you've worked hard for? to raise some whore of a daughter or a pussy of a son? naa, fuck that. keep smart, and stay inconsistent in how you do shit. and becoming a legitimate businessman? that's all bullshit, there's hardly any real legitimate business people out there who are truly successful. if you're going to make it to the top, you'll have to do a few dirty deeds to get there.

    xx

That's actually true...you have to screw people over to be a successful business man.
