Any 07 merching bots working?

Tribot's merching scripts have stopped working because no one bothers to update them after this recent system update. I've looked through OSBot and found none. Do any of you know of a working one?

Wild guess; They auto-merch items you choose and set price on...?

 

Merching bots are those dudes you see selling the same thing all day long. You put in the amount of things you want to sell, what item you want to sell, and it will do all the trading for you.

 

My gosh, how lazy are these people?...

I could probably script one myself. What kind of items do most people sell all day and how much profit can be made?

 

I checked tribot and osbot how am I being lazy? I'm not familiar with any other bots

 

i know osbot and tribot both have one available, you have to pay for osbot's merching script, idk about tribot's script

 

Wouldnt recommend you to use one. They can get lured.

 

Nah most can't now since the script returns you to your start tile if you're more than x tiles away.

 

I don't see how its any more lazy to use a merchanting not than it is to use a skilling bot?

 

I was referring to the concept of the script.

Let's compare, shall we?

Finding a buyer/seller: 2-10 minutes of browsing on Zybez's item market. Meeting the buyer/seller: 2-5 minutes in-game. Interaction time: no more than 30 seconds to trade. At a very slow rate you're looking at around 15 minutes to complete a trade.

Now, how much XP can you gain in a skill in just 15 minutes? Can that be compared a 15-minute trade? Skilling is tedious, you do the same routine over and over for the same amount of XP, hoping to grind for the most possible XP per hour or day.

And you'd rather have a script that has only a chance of successfully making a sell, only a chance that another player will buy from you. While in the mean time, you're accomplishing nothing.

Yeah, that sounds like a grand script to me, where do I sign up?... [/sarcasm]

 

Replace XP with GP and that sounds exactly like merchanting to me.

 

Its kind of handy when your trying to sell 500k nats etc.. Stick the bot on and go to bed, happy days.

 

Making a sale on zybez = no

A merching bot would stand in one spot, autotype, open trade screens, make transactions.

E.g. Buys natures for 220 and resells them for 240, stands next to the staff shop in world 1.

 

I don't know of any active ones, but I don't think it would be hard to script if you asked someone. It is basically an auto typer for the most part XD

Use an auto-typer.
