Yea but that's the generic link colour per-say used on many forums, and is recognisable. Also you were able to hover over it to confirm if it was a link. This colour just looks odd. I'm sure many users would be deceived by its colour, and assume it to be simple text.
http://www.sythe.org/approved-suggestions/1549393-link-colors-2.html I agree though that the color is sort of odd, but maybe it's just because we're just not used to it. But what other color would you suggest? I'd take the current color over the old one any day..
The old one was far better. You could actually tell it was a link; and when hovered over it highlighted, to confirm that thought. This one is just, odd and out of place.
Ehh, the current color doesn't exactly strike me as a link. I agree it should stand out from the rest of the page but the light blue is..meh
Maybe if underlined it'd present itself more like a link? Not so much the color? The color is a typical hyperlink.
Can be underlined manually. Personally if I had a link in a chunk of text I'd spend time having to color them every time because it wasn't noticeable enough, this is just that bit easier
As Roary said, it's 100x easier to just put down a link now, especially if you're staff and you're CONSTANTLY linking stuff I can see how they don't want to be always highlighting links.
Not sure were you are going with that comment? i was stating to the op you can change your links however you want
