Zimmerman Not Guilty

You want to know who the real guilty party in this whole ordeal is? The media. The media who promoted this story and turned it into a racial ordeal. The Black community is raging, and I understand their anger but in truth, they should look within themselves. Their gang members promote the killing of others, they idolize rappers who brag about murder, you get the point I'm getting at.

Whether or not Zimmerman should have been convicted is besides the point, blacks kill blacks, blacks kill whites, blacks kill Hispanics and the reverse is also true. The media turned this into a melting pot of racial divide. You all like to think that you live in a world that is rid of racism but the fact of the matter is that racial segregation is still prevalent in the vast majority (I could argue all) of multicultural society. The only person I feel sorry for is Trayvon's family who've had to grieve so publicly. The media should be ashamed at itself for knowingly promoting racial division.

 

I don't know if your aware or not, but but the defendant and prosecution hand select jurors and both get chances to eliminate some of them before trial. It was a coincidence that everyone who got picked was white besides one Hispanic woman. But she and two men where eliminated.

To everyone else who has the panties in a bunch over this verdict, what about the cop that shot the black guy who was handcuffed in the back of a police car about a year ago? No one ever brought so much attention to that case and man was only 21. Fact is this kid was inside a gated community walking around in the rain, then when confronted he started an altercation and was beating Zimmerman up, then he got shot. I'm not saying it's justified because it wasn't nor should it ever be. He hand a gun as the neighborhood watch and was willing to use and knew he would if he had gotten the chance. I understand how all of you are upset because a younger life was taken, but if your going to call all this race card shit and everything else watch the trail and see how poorly the prosecution did, what the fuck are those women suppose to think? And stop acting surprised when these verdicts happen when the media gets to involved. OJ got away and Micheal "never" touched those kids.

 

Now I watched videos during the Zimmerman case about self defense and I was convinced and people still believe Zimmerman was guilty and I realized..

Even with cold hard facts supporting Zimmerman, people don't care

OJ Simpson had less facts supporting his innocence and people believed him and cheered for him

but

when people see more facts supporting Zimmerman's innocence people turn to riots in Oakland in order to support their "noble" cause

I hate when people turn everything into a racial issues because they are too foggy minded to see the truth.

Grow up and learn that the judicial system works.

P.S. stop saying oh well 5 of the jury were white women... THERE WAS A MIXED COLOR WOMEN ON THR JURY! And if she said he was guilty, the deliberation would still be going on.

If the media didnt get involved there would be no trial at all. He was only arrested 6 weeks after the murder because of protesters.

 

Because the family felt he should be in jail and they got their friends to help, then the media comes in turns it into a big issue and look what happens. Wasted tax dollars and more racial tension. Like I stated before, no one jumped on board when the police officer SHOT AND KILLED A HANDCUFFED MAN IN HIS SQUAD CAR, LA riots started because Rodney King was beaten, nothing happened when this man was shot. It just goes to show what the media does.

 

I hate when people watch 10 minutes of the live trial and think they know everything about what Zimmerman deserves. STFU people you don't know jack shit. Did you spend a week listening to testimony's? Did you spend 16 hours after everything to review the evidence? NO, YOU DIDN'T. You just kept to your opinion formed out of ignorance and lack of respect.

 

What I can't fucking believe is how anyone thinks it is a racial case. The guy wasn't even white. Black people shoot black people every day, then a hispanic guy shoots a black guy and everyone blames white people?

I think it's stupid that if one has a different colour skin than their attacker, it is called a racial attack. But hey, I can't do anything about it.

Unfortunately, most people cannot be objective. I watched the trial from beginning to end, and the prosecution dropped the ball time and time again. The prosecution outspent the defense, and had almost infinite resources from the state. Despite this, the evidence brought forth by the prosecution was suspect to say the least, and required vast amounts of speculation and assumption. However, the defense built a solid case surrounding concrete evidence where reasonable doubt was established. It was the prosecutions' job to establish an evidence based story-line and build a solid case, not the defense's job. The roles were flipped during this trial, and as much as people want to deny it, George Zimmerman was proven not guilty under the court of law.

The real tragedy here is that Trayvon Martin will never be able to come back, and my prayers are with his family tonight. However, that does not justify taking another man's life in order to satisfy our need for "justice" or "closure." It was Ghandi that said "an eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind."

The unfortunate truth is that young African Americans are murdered everyday in this nation's urban inner cities yet nobody raises an eyebrow when it happens. Despite this, people want to act like George Zimmerman is the man who is killing innocent African American kids. However, statistically, black on black crime is the largest cause of death among young African-Americans in the United States. Until we address this appalling and pervasive issue in our society, we will continue to experience these tragic and unfortunate situations.

People are jumping all over GZ because he "followed/confronted" a suspect, but if you flip the coin, isn't that exactly what TM did? Not only did he initially get away, but he then decided to hunt down and confront zimmerman (To him, just a sketchy individual, he didn't know who GZ was, right?). Why wouldn't he call for help if he was truly fearful for his life? Why would he not get to his dad's house instead of confronting and then fucking up GZ which ultimately caused him to pull a gun? Or why wouldn't he just simply say "what's up man is there a problem?" or "Hey dude I live here, what's up?". I have a hard time believing someone who is essentially just watching the neighborhood for crime is going to completely initiate a fight, but everyone can believe what they want I guess.

It's terrible that someone lost their life, but in fights it's not uncommon that a gun gets pulled out. Everyday people on worldstarhiphop videos do it all the time. So why does no one care that TM caused the altercation that ultimately ended his life because there was really no other way to avoid it if you're getting fucked up like GZ most likely was. Street fights are scary and extremely dangerous, people are left with their heads smashed in all time... Left to bleed and die so tell me what would have happened if he hadn't of shot him? It's self defense, and it was both parties that made it happen. People should learn from this instead of just trying to persecute everyone.

Martin is responsible for martin's death because HE followed and approached the "creepy white cracker" when he lost his tail and could have went home but instead went on to be the living shit out of GZ. (That's not true though. He's just an innocent boy who loved to run and play and eat skittles).

 

What does it matter what race either of them are? If we are taught that all races are equal, why should it even be a footnote in this case? It is one man who shot another, supposedly in self defence. Don't look at mugshots, look at the facts and forensics.

I'm really not, he lost martin before the 911 phone call ended. Martin then followed him and that's where the conflict began. Instead of going home, he confronted the conflict which is essentially the same thing everyone is pissed at GZ for doing.

I agree with loyal, I hate how people think its all about "Racism" well its not, regardless of their race... justice has been served.. he has been proven to be innocent, the kid died, may his soul rest in peace, and now everyone should move on with their lifes.

Just putting this out there if the laws actually made sense like I feel they do in Canada he would have been charged. Think about it self defense isn't he tackled me so I shot him. You can pull a gun but really pulling the trigger in self defense is really only if the other person has a gun. It would be considered excessive force in my opinion. In Canada self defense as a use in court is considered "the use of reasonable force to protect yourself". This applies to this situation in my opinion. There are other laws in Canada I disagree with but the gun laws and just general laws on when you can harm people make Canada safer in my opinion. Unfortunately in the state he was prosecuted in this was considered self defense therefore technically justice has been served but Travon was right when he described him as a "creepy cracker".
