I've seen some problems on this forums area for a long time. There is a various list of problems that people have.

I, myself find that helping others helps me relieve my brain of my problems.
If you have a problem feel free to talk in here, and I'll give you a different perspective to help you out.

I'll even start it off right now.-

Sometimes I feel like when I talk to people, they secretly belittle me in their own way that I can't understand. Its all my self-doubt popping up and it bugs the shit out of me. So i cope by trying to predict what anyone says to me, it helps at first but I can't keep up with it forever. I think my best hope is to ignore that feeling because I don't think its true.

 

This, this right here.
I have social anxiety and this gets the best of me ALL THE TIME, I even have trouble speaking up in class because I feel like people are judging me all the time even if I know my answers are right or my question is needed.

I really wish I could ignore the feeling and I've been working on it for years..

 

I have the exact same problem as chloe, i never speak up even when i know the correct answers for stuff

 

Sometimes you have to throw yourself out there. I don't mean fully exposure by any means, but some notice. I used to be the same way, my teacher took me to the side and asked why I didn't answer. All I could say was that I didn't wanna be wrong or belittled and sound dumb.

Even if your wrong, the teacher won't belittle you, or whoever your speaking to, if its truly a matter of something that you need to say, or want to be recognized you have to put yourself out there.

I decided to speak-up, even right here on this forum, i spoke up and look, i get a response. Don't be afraid to do it, chances are, you'll be doing the right thing by speaking up.

And for answers in class, if you know the answer, the only reason people would judge u is because your smart. I had other students talk to me after class " can u tutor me, etc etc." Because they noticed how well I actually was doing, their are always people who'll tease u "nerd" but thats because they can't figure out the answer themselves.

 

I dont think you guys are afraid of being belittled, might be more of a self-confidence issue. Of course this is my personal view.

Unless the people who judge are important for you, then you shouldn't care what they say.
