It's nice to see some new faces around and whatnot - it's this very tiny graphics forum where I started

I currently help run a graphics community, and I'm in the team Avant Garde (if anyone remembers the old teams from PR) meaning I still tag for battles, tourneys, etc.

wow your work is nice. i like your style when you incorporate it in to something like the 1st one an the 4th one. an your doodles are nice do you watch peater draws?
nice photographey too. in the first one it could use some more depth of field, it might of got a bit higher quality pic but you would probable need a specific camera to get that much.

I disagree with what you classify as 'incorporating', simply because abstraction and conceptual art needn't have a reference to realism to be appreciated. Though I'll take your opinion and see what I can do

What do you mean by depth of field? In that particular shot I got what I was looking for; a recession in the tones of the mountains which makes obvious the depth (as the mountains get lighter, they're further away etc). If you mean any sort of blur, that's not exactly how I was trying to take the photo, otherwise I don't know what you mean

 

well i thank the reason i say that is just because abstract isn't my thing. but i do like yours. i just thank it looks better when you like make something out of it. but thats in my eye's. every one see's it difrentley.

he dose sweet doodles. yours kinda reminded me of him

the depth of field is the range of acceptable focus. so the more depth of field on a image like this the more clear the image will be.

I do understand what depth of field is, I just don't understand what you meant about the photo (as it has an incredibly shallow depth of field, as is the norm for landscape photography). The aperture was something like f/8 which is pretty low in any case, that's why there's no foreground blur/background blur/'circles of confusion' as people call them.

Your work is absolutely stunning, man! Keep up the great work. I'd love to know how to do that type of art. Oh well, I'm going to learn it some day.

May I ask you where the photos were taken? My guess would be somewhere out west in a rural area. Just curious
