~~Best Magic exp in Runescape~~

Hello Sythe! This is my FREE guide on getting a TON of mage exp fast, the only downside is it takes a lot of money...But hey, if your rich why not get really fast exp?
On to the guide!



Requirements:
70 or 94 magic 94 preferred
Desert Treasure done
A house with a combat ring
9 or more friends...You can also go to a house party with a combat ring.
Ancient staff for autocast.

Method:
First I will show you the base exp, max damage, and runes for ice barrage and ice burst:
Ice barrage: 52, up to 30 damage, 2 bloods, 4 death, 6 water, 94 mage.
Ice burst: 40 up to 22 damage, 2 death, 4 chaos, 4 water, 70 mage.

Now, Go buy all the runes you can for those spells. I will list the prices of runes:
Chaos:130-140gp
Death: 300-330gp
Bloods:500-600gp
Water:20-30gp.

After you buy those, equip your ancient staff, and mage armor if you have it. Pm 9 friends and be like hey can I train on you? if they say no, go to a house party with a combat ring.
1. If your friends came, make them stand in every space of the ring, you being in the middle.
2. If you are in a house party, find the combat ring and hope alot of people are there, stand in middle.

*NOTE* If you have more then 9 people standing around, it will only count nine so don't call over 50 friends to your combat ring

For both situations, set either spell on autocast. now for some math:

Ice burst: 40 base exp+an average hit of say...14. for each damage it's an extra 2 exp so an average of 40+28 exp=68exp. Now, 68 multiplied by 9 grid squares is 612 exp. That means you will be getting an average of 612 exp per cast. Lets say it takes 3 seconds to cast burst, 100 bursts would be 300 seconds, 61.2k exp per 5 minutes.
Going at 1200 bursts a hour, you would get 734.4k exp/hour. Average that to 700k exp an hour. OWNAGE EXP. From level 70 mage(737,627 exp) to 94 mage(7,944,614 exp) you would need 7,206,987 exp. That's only about 10 and a half hours...Alching takes 120 hours@60k exp an hour.

Ice barrage: A base of 52 exp per an average or about...20 would be 92 exp. 92 multiplied by 9 grid squares is an average of 828 exp per cast. Now if ice barrage takes 3 seconds to cast, 1200 casts(1 hour worth of casts) would be 993.6k exp!
Average that to 950k exp an hour. EVEN MORE OWNAGE EXP. With this method it would take around 6-7 hours to get from 94 mage to 99 mage, let's see you do that with another method .

Insane exp, i don't think you can get that much or everyone would be 99.

 

Yeah but for level 94-99 mage it would be 16.8m...With alching you barely lose money. I have no idea why no one does this

 

can you only attack 9 people or can you get like 30 people to stand in a 3x3 square?

 

I don't know but if you could the exp would be in the millions per hour.

 

Barrage in pc?

 

That could work but there isn't always monsters on 9 grid squares, and spread out evenly. You could do pc and still probably get like 500k-700k exp and hour+the exp from points.

You cant cast on more than 9 at a time, might want to include that.

This method is expensive as hell, but it IS the fastest way to get mage exp i suppose :S

 

I'll add that, thanks. I think this method is not that expensive because from 94-99 this method takes approximately 16.5m and you can get it done in less then 10 hours. Like I said, if you have the cash this method if for you.

Yeah, if you read the whole post it would say that it costs a lot of money, but its the best thing to do if our rich.

 

You could do this with d2h.
Use its special, get one to kill you, go back in use special and so on.

 

I thought of doing this at fight pits before construction came out. Then you get tokkul at the same time to help pay for some of the runes lol. Maybe you could even get a fury if you did it long enough...

 

Nice xp and all but the most is still pc because u can use points on magic also, and u can get ALOT of monsterse piled up happens all the time at portals.

 

Yea thats true, but it would be best on a so-so world so games don't go so fast that monsters don't pile up.

 

i think that wont work , but im not too sure... because the base exp is given only once per spell not depending the amount of people u hit or the 3*3 grid.. so the formula is [EXP= 40+(2xh)]
**h = number of total hit per spell, so lets say 14 per person and 9 people = 126 so per spell the exp u woudl get is

[Exp = 40+(2x126)]
the exp would be 292 and not 612..

i think this is correct...

 

Oh dang, I gotta go switch to ancients and see what you said is true. Even if it is it's still the best exp in game

 

pc would be better, because with points it makes it cheaper, and if you get infront of the portal in fast worlds usually more then 9 monester will be in just a single square

 

I guess pc would be good too, I'll add that.
