Need help rescheduling a job interview QUICK!!

Curious to hear what happened.

 

As stated on another thread I know a little bit more about this whole child support thing then others. You really have to prioritize, you said you had one interview over the past 5 years, now your going to skip the one shot you've gotten over 5 years of work? Think about your kid, you told me her mother won't let you see the child, If you landed a job and payed off the child support gradually then she will probably have to let you see the kid at some point. Not to mention a job would increase your revenue big time compared to our welfare/ social services programs. I'm not trying to be rude, but you don't have your priorities straight. Your thinking about going out for a week, instead of trying to better not only your life, but your daughters, while trying to avoid prison time and a felony that takes away some of your rights.

There's many options you can do here:

• Not go, and simply focus on getting a job
• Ask for them to wait the extra couple of hours to leave until after your interview
• make up an excuse for why you couldn't make it, but make sure you reschedule it after you get back.

Obviously the most responsible ones are towards the top, but this is just my advice. I wish you the best of luck.

Not sure what the timezone is for OP, but that interview should be over by now if he went. I'd stop posting that he should go since its over. The only thing left is to hear if he did what we said

 

Tell them your dad has been rushed into hospital with a heart attack, then you tell them when you can make it... sick but they will sympathize with your position and most probably reschedule. That's the realistic sicko without a heart approach to the situation...

You could just hit them up by saying 'hey, I have some place else to be'. Your choice.

 

I rescheduled a Uni interview I'm pretty sure Mcdonalds wont mind.

 

I wouldn't go on your trip these kind of positions can be filled rather quickly, I would say take initiative during your phone call apologies and maybe offer a time that is realistic to reschedule. People like people who try.

Also be prepared to not get the job if you go on vacation people do job interviews so they can hire someone.

 

They won't mind dude, remember, it's mcdonalds, just make sure to tell em that you really want to work there and you aren't just shitting them around and you are actually interested in working there.
