Protein Supplement

I was wondering about which protein supplement to take, to increase lean muscle mass without extra fat-i have taken ON gold standard and dyamatize elite whey, is there any other one out there thats better than these?id appreciate some help

 

If you want to take a protein supplement just for the protein, no extra carbs - take a whey protein supplement.

Brands don't really matter because it's all a big marketing scam, if you have a tight budget, just buy the cheapest whey protein you can find because they all generally have 24 grams per serving.

Getting a little bit of fat when gaining lean mass is sort of inevitable with or without a supplement.

do you have any idea about the rating on bodybuilding.com?i mean, the highest rated ones, are no way near the most popular ones, so whats this rating based on?and should i go for higher rated or more popular ones?

also, whats the benefit of on platinum hydrowhey, that its so much more expensive?

do you know if bodybuilding.com has a good shipping feedback?lots of complaints ive heard that they dont ship on time

Just get any normal whey protein supplement, you don't need any "premium" products.

Remember, supplements arent magic.

 

Buy any whey protein, thatll do the job, go for the cheapest if you have to BRANDS are just a way of paying for a logo on a tub.

just make sure you get a protein that supplys 20grams + per shake. and you will be fine.

 

I find the ON whey protein has better flavors with a wider variety to choose from, but you don pay a premium for the name. I get the one in the middle of the three "series" they got. Works great.

 

yeah but the cheap ones might have some artificial flavouring and crap in them which could be harmful?
so i guess ill go for the cheapest good brand i can find?

 

I take reflex all in one xtreme.
Its pretty good but has nasty price tag at full price.

 

I live buy the ON chocolate malt whey. you can mix it in skim or 1% milk and it tastes just like chocolate milk. If you break down the cost per scoop difference between brands, it's only a few cents and I'll pay that extra nickel or dime for the better taste.
