Sorry, but if you guys have such "great" ideas that you think are worth telling Dialatic, why don't you invest in the time/"money" in learning how to develop websites? It's really not that hard - things like HTML, pHp, Javascript, MySQL, etc. are really easy to learn.

I don't mean to steer "business" away from you Dialatic, but I could never understand this whole partnership thing, where one person has the brilliant idea, and the other person does the dirty work. Anyone can do dirty work - but not everyone can have a brilliant idea.

 

Because some of us have shit to do in the real world? I personally do not have time to work on a website right now with uni and taking care of family.

I only gave ideas that I didn't mind being stolen (mostly because they couldn't) though.

Also guys, if your idea doesn't turn over money immediately, don't bother submitting it.

 

Lol, just take a couple of courses in university then. Really, that's all you need. This isn't rocket science. If you have enough time to get on Sythe, surely you have enough time to dedicate an hour everyday in learning these things. It's fun, too.

Exactly that. Why should people spend years learning, when someone who knows what they're doing is willing to do it with a contract and share profits?

This isn't rocket science. Sure, if we're talking about something like building an idea, then a person would need other people to help him/her as he/she most likely cannot do all the work on his/her own (electrical engineer work, mechanical engineer work, and whatnot).

But, for the sake of this argument, I'll assume that the person cannot learn how to code. However, if you're simply the coder, do you think it's fair to share profits by contract? You do realize there are numerous freelance programmers who are willing to do "easy" projects - under a fixed, one-time price? This is how some people with mobile app ideas make their apps - they pay a freelance programmer (most of the time under $5k) to make it for them, and go off making sometimes over 100 times this amount.

 

Bump. I just saw you replied Snoop, and quite frankly it doesn't matter to me. If you don't think it's a good idea, than that's your own opinion. Other people might like my offer.

 

Got a few decent offers last round, but nothing that I could see myself doing really.

What you stated is the same as HootSuite.com. I'm a web-developer too and had this same issue with coming up with an idea. Thought of yours, researched, and HootSuite already had taken it.
