Making a main worth it?

Hey everyone, was just wondering is making a main on 07 scape compared to EOC worth it? Just wanted to know the expected longevity of 07scape

 

Of course. In my opinion, EOC is not worth playing AT ALL. It's a completely different game, therefor 07 would be a better investment. Jagex have stated that 07 RS is here to stay for the long run anyways

 

I wonder if they will come with any new updates, do you have any information on that?

 

They have a small team working on new updates. If you are mostly concerned with longevity/popularity of the game, 07 will probably decline in player count faster than EoC will. Most people on 07 are only there for the PvP aspect, the wilderness and duel arena are full in world 2 and 54 respectively. EoC is more boss-killing oriented if you want to play that and become a main.

 

Runescape without spec weapons isn't runescape at all. 07 FTW!

 

I'm making an 07 main just for the nostalgia.
Going for my quest cape, then I'm done paying for RS completely.
My advice is, if you make a main set a goal for yourself. Playing aimlessly with intentions of maxing out an account is pointless on 07
