New Sythe section

Well you have probably heard of the up and coming bungie game called " DESTINY". I'm not really gonna go crazy on this explanation but. This game is huge and right now there are a TON of forums for it with LOTS of people and i mean a lot, and there will probably be a lot of trading revolving around the game as well i think we should have a destiny section because it would bring in a lot of new people to sythe which is only a good thing. Anyone agree with me?

 

Been awhile Schoolboy I'm sure Destiny is going to find its way onto the forum at some point, and then eventually into it's own sub-topic.


I don't know much about the game, but the hype is kinda big... Well I find it strange that it's not technically an MMO.. Creators claim its a "shared-world shooter." Maybe it won't have tradeable items, or the ability for a market?

When the game is released, it depends on the market and activity of the game wether or not we make a new section for it.
Obviously if there is a high demand for market as its a popular game it will likely be implemented.

 

Isn't Destiny just Halo 2.0 since bungie sold halo? If it is similar to Halo there won't be much to sell on it apart from boosting and what not which could just go in the existing markets.

 

It way too early to tell, IMO. We don't even know what the game will contain, let alone whether tere will be interest in it here. Hold fire on this one, I would suggest.

 

We should wait for the game to be released first and see how many people will play it and how the market functions.

We should have some sort of discussion already shouldn't we? I mean just google destiny forums there is a ton of them and they are all heavy with users. And you can watch the developer diaries as i did and they said there will be daily raids that will be put in the game and stuff so there has to be trading involved, its going to be like a MMO where bungie will put daily raids and missions in the game for everyone to play together

You are missing the point, stop trying to get post count by stupid posts on my thread. did you actually go to google and search for destiny forums? Look how big they are. Why should we have to settle for the other games section make a sub section for destiny

 

We can't just assume its going to be a huge hit with sythe. It may be very popular on other forums, but in order for there to be a separate topic for it... You need to let the discussions develop. When people make loads of threads about it in the other games section, then the mods will consider giving it a section. Until the community shows interest, its not just going to appear one day.

 

No, I didn't google Destiny. The demand for a Destiny subforum hasn't presented itself within Sythe. If sufficient demand is shown in the other games section, I'm sure a specific subsection will be opened; this is what all the other games have to settle for, we cannot just add a section for every game.

I am not "trying to get post count" by disagreeing with your suggestion. Sorry.

 

We'll see if the game generates enough traffic to warrant a section of its own. Thanks for the suggestion!
