Some Bot Questions

Hey guys

I used to bot ages ago (i think it was called rsbuddy?), soul wars only for combat from token handins.

After i heard there was a bot purge and the bot website was shut down i stopped.

In that time i got 2 accounts to max combat with no bans and it was always pretty safe.

I was wondering since then (around 2 years) how much has changed? i see tribot is the next big thing but i was wondering int erms of security and risk etc?

Soul wars was always great as it was hard to get found.

But im reluctant to go back to it now as they seem to be on top of it?

Jagex has been doing mass ban waves recently. I've seen scores of "banned" threads on various sites. So far Robotz in Disguise has been doing well in this department; they've yet to have any bans during the ban waves, despite most users suiciding. Some may argue that they've been untouched whilst botting clients like Powerbot, for example, but for them it's a matter of when, not if.

 

Trent! is right. I say don't bot unless you don't mind getting banned.

 

Well in my opinion, I think tribot is by far the best right now. They have a bigger userbase and more scripters/people helping with randoms.
