This isn't for just one mod, so it doesn't belong in individual staff feedback section. I don't know why I have to say this, but what are you guys thinking? A lot of you are completely out of line with deleting people's posts because someone who cant fight there own battles reports it. This is complete and utter bullshit, and this is the reason why you can't get a majority of people to participate and be active with community events, competitions, etc, because people like Delta Squad post around completely baligerant as to how stupid they sound, and then they go and report posts because they can't fight their own battles. There's an extreme amount of this going on here, and it needs to stop. The first step to do this would be to stop censoring people so much. It is completely ridiculous how many posts and threads get locked when they shouldn't have. Examples, I'm pretty sure you ALL know some of the things I'm talking about, because its been brought up over, and over, and over again. Deleting posts and locking threads, and censoring people in a degree that you are, no wonder this forum is losing people. Who cares about a lot of it? Extra posts, threads, and discussion leads to more activity, and deleting majorities of it or infracting for these ridiculous reasons is why activity isn't growing in some areas. Only MAJOR things should be locked, infracted, or deleted. Not even CLOSE to what most of you are doing now.

I mean, it's crazy that my posts in "Delta Squads" thread were deleted, yet something like this http://www.sythe.org/12421564-post4.html is completely acceptable? I do think its stupid to create a market where carders can go and max and dump stolen CC's. The answer is not to "just report it" its to either quit censcoring people so much or to apply the nazi method forum wide because I know a mod has gone by and read that post (better example would be a controlling boyfriend/girlfriend or overly strict parents). A lot of people come to relax or to let steam off, not to be censored and controlled like a forum boot camp.

Yes people come here to relax and talk to others while others thrive in the market which is why UNNECESSARY comments are deleted, I'm not sure where Delta posted that but clearly he was stating an opinion because of how dumb that comment was.

I don't know why you're complaining but I'm thinking the only reason you made this is because mods have been deleting your posts because you're attacking ONE person, have you not read the rules? If you want to let off steam go to the SF, everywhere else is supposed to be friendly and respectful to one and another.

I'm not attacking anybody I'm bringing to light a topic that's been bright up countless other times by a lot of other people. Some of them being ex-mods. That is exactly what I said, so are you agreeing with me? Unnecessary comments should be deleted, your exactly right. My posts weren't "unnecessary", in fact you haven't even read them because they have been deleted. I'm not attacking anybody, I'm trying to make this forum better and show you some ways to increase activity. Go to bitcointalk.org for example, I'm not TradeFortess there, but go there to see where everyone is a little more mature, and they don't care about any of this stuff that seems like the main focus here.

Sythe owns this, and he gives his power to the moderators. I really hate when people say "mods need to stop censoring". They make and enforce the rules, and they can say what goes. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS ON THIS FORUM. People get banned and seem to think it's abuse of power and they need to be unbanned. There are no such rules on the internet.

If anything, the moderators should censor more. The amount of shit they put up with is ridiculous.

Moderators on this site are really quite patient not sure what you're complaining about. They put up with boats full of bullshit before they close a topic or give an infraction.
You seem mad because of a specific infraction I'm sure? By the sounds of it you were infracted for being off topic and you were reported by Delta Squad. Now you feel the urge to rant "not about a specific moderator" but the way it's run? Your post seemed like you were mad at all mods for you being off topic and you were most angry at Delta Squad for reporting you?

Obviously you guys aren't getting the point. I'm not going to argue with people who don't get the big picture. There's a reason basically all other RS forums and online gaming communities are expanding rapidly and this one is barely trucking along.

@Dialatic, what shit do they have to put up with? It doesn't really seem like much if they stopped monitoring everything like nazis. Other forums would laugh at how this forum is being run, it's a shame that you guys aren't getting the if picture. There is no rights and what the mods say go's because they have the power, you sound like hitler. It DOES matter what rights you get and what mods say because that is ultimately what leads to more activity, and less people being pissed off at each other. I tried to make a point to "Delta "Squad" by saying he's been doing the same thing over and over so try a different approach, but since he can't fight his own battles he runs to the mods (Hitler and his generals) to delete my post (throw me in the gas chamber). It does matter what rights you get and what the people with power say because that what leads to success and happiness (or activity in this case), and that's why hitler ultimately failed in what he was trying to accomplish, because it was wrong. That's why sythe is losing activity in everything besides the market and other RS forums and gaming communities are rapidly growing by the day.

I'll have you know that it was me that deleted the posts.
From 1 year of modding I've learned that it is the best way to go in this situation, not only for the mod, but for the users involved too.
If I didn't delete them you two likely would have argued and I would have ended up deleting your posts because of spam/flaming anyway and you both would have received infractions.

Having two different opinions and arguing against each other is fine as long you don't insult eachother and you provide sufficient evidence to back up your argument.

Edit: Also, Delta didn't ask for a mod to delete his posts, he simply reported it because it was off topic. It was my decision entirely to delete the posts. You're also being insulting in your posts once again.

I'm closing this thread because of Godwin's law.
If you don't like the way I mod, feel free to leave me some feedback.
