Shall we all come together and embrace RS3?

Well ive been a member of the rs community for over eight years now,
im thinking to have a go of this, properly like put some proper work in, idk though..

thoughts?

 

I don't get the hype. A fancy graphics update isn't a good enough reason to call it Runescape 3.

 

Rs3 isn't a change, it's just a graphics update essentially. The only content change I associate with RS3 is EoC, which I will hate to the core.

 

It's not just a graphics update as I understand it. From what I've read and watched it seems the whole dynamic of the game is going to change as RS enters into "The Sixth Age." What that means exactly, I'm unsure. As of right now, gods will be playing a much larger role in the lore of Runescape (Quests, future skilling and bossing updates) and they've mentioned here and there re-doing some of the skills - most notably construction. Things are going to change even more than they have already. You don't have to embrace it, but you should expect it.

No. It's the whole game getting upgraded.

 

I just tried EoC pking today.

I got smacked with a tsunami until I died...

What's happening to this game?

 

Personally, as long as it doesnt affect me and my 07 progress, then I could care less. I didn't care about the live game ever since EOC came out

 

Naw,i'm not going to embrace it. it sucks

 

I don't think that I can give a valid opinion without seeing what content is being released when that happens I think then would be the best time to judge to see if people should play "runescape 3" or if they should stick with oldschool runescape.

 

07 for life that's the prime days of runescape!

 

I'm curious if Jagex managed to screw the game up even further. Who knows though I think they have all ready hit rock bottom and they could only go up.

 

I'm willing to give it a shot, pking is dead however. So besides a major graphics revamp, a new skill, and a new story line, it just is an update to the current game centered around pvm and quests

 

RS3 is happening so you either embrace it, or don't play.

I sold my main so I personally won't be playing it.

Nope, this isn't the same game that I really fell in love with two years ago (though I've played for maybe 7-8 years now). Its clear that its heading in a direction that I'm not interested in, doubt I'll be logging in from this point on :/

 

My honest opinion is that ever since EoC came out the game has gone downhill and just going real deep underground. RS07 is the only thing keeping me around but I have a feeling 07 won't be around for much longer cause they want to force everyone to play that RS3 garbage they have implemented.

 

I'm personally giving RS3 a shot, and imo, the NIS isn't that bad once you're used to it.
