New Free Bot

I have a privately made bot, with reflection/color recognition. My Question is, should I release publicly also is there demand? What would you like to see in a bot? I'd be willing to do far more than anything out there. Would you pay or should it be free? Along side that what kind of legal consequence could I be facing? Let me know what you think.

 

Why did you create the bot in the first place?

It is really up to you. If you think you can gain the trust of the public and compete with other bots like tribot and osbot, then go ahead

 

go ahead, the more bots out there better for us botters so we can bot more and have more options to have when one goes down and such.

really up to you if it actually good i would keep private let a few people you would trust in on it

A sure way of getting sued by Jagex, won't last.

 

As time has showed us open-source will never lead to legal issues. For OSRS alone there's multiple clients that are open-source and even hosted on Github; why aren't they being sued? SMART has been open source for years and years and it loads both versions of RS, yet received no attention from Yagex.

I'm afraid you'll have to do better than that...
