tWhy is everyone saying that these days?

'Selling level 96 staker'
'Selling 99 str staker'

Just because it can enter the duel arena doesn't mean its a 'staker'

Staking accounts aren't just low pray.


Staking accounts are 1 PRAY!

So to avoid confusion on Sythe i hope to show you guys what staking accounts actually look like:


Mage Staker:
1/99 Def
90-99 Hp
99 Mage
1 Pray
1-70 Att
1-70 Str

Range Staker:
1/99 Def
94-99 Hp
99 Range
1 Pray
1-70Att
1-70 Str

DDS Staker:
1/45 Def
99 Str
60 Att
90-99 HP
99 Str
1 Pray

Whip Staker:
1/45/70 Def
99 str
99 hp
70 att
1 pray

Maxed Staker:
99 Str
99 Att
1-99 Def
99 Hp
1 Pray
99 Range
99 Mage

 

You're missing boxers. High def and attack, mid-level strength.

 

Boxers are usually the maxed staking accounts, or having the 10 differences
for example:
70 str
80 att
90 def

but like these are jumbled accounts, its not a 'staker' its just an account that can probably win or loose in duel arena, staking accounts are over powered not just '70 att 96 str 70 def'

 

Stakers aren't limited to 1 pray.

No Stake uses prayer :S

 

A true staker is always 1 prayer (minus 11 prayer for Mage stakers). It's the same as someone selling a pure or tank with over 52 prayer... Sure you can pk on it but it wasn't purposely designed for what you are selling it as.

Incorrect. When highscores came out, stakers were referred to people with identical names as others, with the use of 'O', '0', 'l', 'I' and multiple spaces etc to confuse others. 1 pray has absolutely nothing to do with being a staker. Yes, people assume it because it's a common misconception. In reality, a staker can be anything, with any stats.

I staked since classic, and it's original meaning is irrelevant of prayer.

No. Here is the simple point lol;

Pray is not relevant to whether an account is a staker or not. Doesn't matter if it's in 2001, or 2013.

 

My man, stakers today are meant to be over powered and set up for purely staking if i have 33 defence and 9 att and 28 strength and 52 pray with the name iiiliiikiiieeidiiiciikkkk doesn't mean i'm a staker because my name is jumbled, 1 pray means low combat considering no one allows pray in duel arena

 

So if I change the name on a level 3 flax picker to IIllIllIlliII that means can sell it as a staker account? Your point is completely invalid since there are an infinite number of staker names available.

 

You guys don't understand what I'm saying lol. I'm saying the original reference for being a staker was that. I'm not saying it's defined by it at current; the same way that it's not limited to 1 pray.

There is no point arguing about it anyway. If you folks played from classic and staked then up till the original 2007, you'd realise what I'm talking about.
