New Sig :D

Do you like the new sig? Took like ten minutes to make, I'm just happy that I have the links to both my main threads now . What do you guys think of it? Too simple?

 

I myself am not a fan of the text behind the text (layered) but that's neither here nor there. In some respects it is too simple, adding more things in photoshop such as a flare etc (could go on the R as this seems to be the placec with most light) and you should add some basic layer styles to the buttons.

 

The text doesn't look to be great quality, practice makes perfect!

 

Yeah just made it quickly and thought it just turned out pretty clean , thing I'm worried about with adding in a flare is if the glow from it goes a bit off dimensions, will just look like a big ugly box. Will probably make a more complex one later, thanks a ton for the suggestions!

It's not the text quality lol it's a style of graphic .

It's decent but it could still use some work and you should definitely consider changing the layers behind text it doesn't look appealing to me. Maybe that's just me but overall it is decent!

The image looks really amazing. The dragon claw looks amazing with the textures you used. The only problem that I don't like is that it is not straight on. It is tilted way too much I think.

 

I think you did a great job with the overall design, I can't help with technical terms for graphics but I can drop some aesthetic advice.

The colors all match and they fit together great, however it gets dull with no added flare or detail. You need to either add something like a flare effect, or create contrast with the colors.

Overall, I say it's not a bad place to start. Keep at it!

OT: Its an overall good job The slant effect you used would probably end up looking better if the text weren't kind of blurred. Personally, I feel like the subtext is taking away from the piece so maybe make it more 'fitting' ? Also, the dragon claw could use a little drop shadow and some other effects to help it blend in better. Keep practicing!

 

it would be cool if the sub text was at a slant with the 3d text. like make it go back in the same perspective as the 3d text.

In some notices of the Main Text "Dragon" there is some discolouration due to the lights placement or the settings on the material you used, or could even be the type of font. other than that solid effort
