That case is so sexy. In terms of spec's, your machine blows mine out of the water.

Shit branded SSD, overkill PSU, more ram then you'll ever need. if you went 2011 socket with haswell out you're an idiot(2011 in general was a bad idea unless you needed 6cores lol).
7.5/10 from me, inb4 everyone hates on me for the truth.

9.5/10 I think you should have got i7-3770k or i7-4770k instead, you can't overclock yours currently, plus socket 2011 wouldn't be needed.

I'm far from jealous, you fucking dropkick. I'm pointing out what he did wrong wrong in my opinion. His PSU is complete overkill(a 750w will run an averagely OC'd SLI 770 machine). OCZ have the highest failure rate, thus a shit branded SSD. The only real reason for socket 2011 is for editting machines, which would be the 6core processors. From my guesses, he won't ever need that much RAM.
Why compare my build to his? Considering I haven't updated my specs on this website in awhile you wouldn't have a clue what I'm running.

I rated it 7.5 because it's a very unbalanced build, money spent in the wrong places. Now please, tell me how I'm jealous without sounding like a total fucking idiot.

not entirely sure why i bother with people like this, l0l.

    Pros:
    • Good HDD
    • Great GPU
    • Great CPU
    • Enough RAM
    • Enough power
    • SSD powered

    Cons:
    • PSU is overkill for a single GPU setup. It’s simply pointless.
    • CPU is fine, but the overclock is pointless since your CPU isn’t your bottleneck. Besides, 1.35V for 4,3GHz is horrid for Sandy.
    • 32GB of ram is meaningless. You probably never use more than 8, or even 4GB.
    • Stemming from the fact that you spent a lot of money on your rig, your SSD is below par. You should have gone with 2x120GB in RAID0 if you wanted to meet the level of some of your other components. Here’s an example of sequential read speeds you will simply never see (bear in mind that this is 2x64GB, so 2x120GB would be faster on the other readings): http://community.crucial.com/t5/ima...85BAA8CBF6/image-size/original?v=mpbl-1&px=-1
    • Water cooling is pointless with your clock speeds. A 24 hour Prime95 stress test on my 2500K with a heatsink and air fans doesn’t cap 60 degrees Celsius. And that’s at 4,50Ghz.

All in all, it’s obviously a good machine, but you already know that. I have a pretty strong feeling you only posted this to seek validation from others, which is counterproductive. You burned money on useless components (32GB RAM - ??) rather than on maximizing performance. I’m not judging you for that, just pointing out what comes to mind. That is - you either lack experience or are driven by your ego.

its like saying, hey thats a nice lambo but its a waste of $ because that 500 dollar honda on craigslist is good enough to get you from point a to point b. i didnt hold back when i purchased my components, comparing the cosmos 2 ( a 350 dollar case) to your 40 dollar antec 300, do you get the drift? lol, no need to swear and get mad, first sign of jealousy..lol

7/10, its a nice computer in terms of spending your money. But it seems like you didn't do all too much research when putting it together, and although you went all out on some parts, you neglected to have other components up to spec.

    Just my two cents.

Didn't say a thing about the case, what I said is you wasted money on parts that you'll never use the full extent of them. If you didn't hold back why only a 770, and only a 3820? you clearly like the guy above me said didn't do much research.

You asked for a rating and he gave you one, if you already know your pc is good why are you posting this fishing for compliments.

Not at all, actually its more like you bought a 2013 Porsche Boxster for $200k, vastly overpaying for it. Sure its a nice car and all but you could have bought a Lamborghini Murcielago at that same price and would outperform that boxster.

Point is, Haswell has proven to run hotter than an Ivybridge, your overclock at 4.3ghz is meaningless, I got mine to go to 4.6ghz in 15 minutes of tinkering.

Complete agreeance with Edward and noodles. Granted, its definitely a 9/10 overall build for a general consumer....but for those of us with a little sense about us, this computer would have been built vastly differently...with the pointless expenses being put towards the parts that really matter.
Nonetheless, its a sexy PC for sure. With the excessive ram and PSU, you've set yourself up with a nice foundation for the future. Even though haswell would have been the right choice on a brand new build, you're not missing much there. Performance is not a big enough jump to be justified, so its not a bad idea to just wait for the next gen Intel processors.

my personal rating on this is a 7/10

6/10, overspent on components where money could be better used elsewhere, such as a bigger HDD (1TB? with everything else in your system?). Less RAM and smaller PSU you could have afforded a GTX 780 easily.

INB4 OP gets mad at my rating even though point of thread was asking for peoples opinion.
