City of Calgary - Flooded

There was a major flood in the city of Calgary last evening and night. It is still raining pretty hard in some parts.

Instead of going home from work that evening, I ended up staying in my high-above ground office at the University of Calgary Math Science building with food and water to last me the entire weekend.

I woke up this morning at about 8am to Campus Security banging on my door, demanding to know what I was doing here, and then telling me I should head home if I could.

 

I'm guessing it was terrible!

 

Dang, and the floods apparently forced around 100,000 people from their homes.
