Kawhi Leonard's fault. You had one job, you choked.

Now you're a loser, and you'll never forget it.

    Harsh words, but the truth.

Congratulations to the Heat, I'm glad LeBron got another ring. Unfortunately, it was at the suspense of Tim Duncan.

Are you kidding me? You're blaming Kawhi Leonard? If anything, you should blame Manu Ginobili. I mean, I love him, but he screwed up royally this series.

Oh it's Manu's fault too, but all Kawhi has to do is hit a free throw and it's over. But Ginobili missed one too. The point being, the Spurs collectively choked, and deserved to lose the finals.

This. He played horrible in game 6 and 7. He was simply erratic in both offense and defence. I'm surprised Parker got benched instead of Ginobili in the last minute of the game.

Oh well, congratulations to my Miami Heat! 3PEAT!

Why are you surprised lol, Gregg made bad line-up decisions all series long. He left the junior varsity team out for far too long in spurts (most notably about 6 minutes from the final minutes of QTR 1 into QTR 2..but I guess that's what happens when your star players are closer to the nursing home than the prime of their careers.

You're acting as if that is an easy thing to do... Kawhi Leonard has played great in this series, and shouldn't be the one the blame should be on.

How is it Leonard's fault? Don't get me wrong I wanted the heat to repeat.
But MANU destroyed their chances at winning this.

Gimme a break, free-throws are fundamental. They don't change. I've watched thousands of Duke games in huge pressure situations where they can make those free-throws and seal games. And IMO, College Hoops is way more intense than the NBA, because you miss a free-throw in the tournament like that your season really is over. There isn't any best of 7 nonsense. I didn't see the Heat missing free-throws to ice the game. Kawhi Leonard is just as largely to blame as anyone else because he could have ended it on one of the most fundamental shots in any sport. I realize it's not easy, but it's fundamental and they're professionals, so I find it a fair criticism of Kawhi Leonard because anyone on the Spurs can be blamed. They ALL choked.

    You're right..without Leonard, there wouldn't be a game 7...because he choked. :p

And since you're all upset I'm blaming one guy, I'll shift gears.. why it's everyone's fault:

Tim Duncan: Missed an easy lay-up to tie it. The game essentially ended right there.

Danny Green: In typical North Carolina Tar Heel fashion, disappears when you most need him (Come on, I have to get a jab in at UNC, since Battier is from Duke and a large reason why they won tonight).

Gary Neal: 1 great game, disappeared the rest and jacked up crazy stupid shots .

Gregg Popovich: terrible line-up management, squandered time-outs, etc.

    Manu Ginobili: Turnover King.

Tony Parker: Too many circus shots, didn't always hit a wide open Danny Green and instead forced up Garbage.

Kawhi Leonard: How to lose your team a title at the free throw line, apparently learned from Derrick Rose.

Everyone else on the Spurs is just there and were just meh or unremarkable.

What? I'm talking about fatigue, and how much energy he exerted before going to the free throw line. He must have been exhausted, THAT'S not an easy thing to do. Going to the line dirt tired knowing you have to make these free throws.

The Heat were fatigued too, I didn't see them missing free throws.
A fair assumption, but still..I've seen equally as important games on the line and people younger than Leonard icing those. But I realize just blaming him was rash and stupid and explained up above why everyone is to blame.

On an NBA Finals level, though? Even then, the Spurs were really close to winning this series. If that were the case, we could easily blame the Heat. LeBron had a couple lackluster games, and same goes for Wade, Bosh, etc.

Well, some may disagree with me, but I think College Basketball is just as intense and just as pressure filled, especially since you could have a 17-18 year old kid going to the line to win his school a national championship. I've seen players a lot worse than Kawhi Leonard make fts in some of the most hostile environments in sports. The nba fans are tame compared to college fans, college fans are certifiably insane at some venues.

Clearly you don't know anything about NBA basketball if you're blaming Leonard for the Spurs loss. Kawhi Leonard and Duncan were the only consistent Spurs players throughout the series. Kid's only 21 and playing at a superstar level and containing Lebron as good as anyone in the league can, without Leonard's consistency the Heat would've blown them out. If you're going to blame anything, it's questionable officiating at the end of Game 6 and Ginobili.

Anywho, props to Miami for repeating, Lebron really stepped it up with his jumpers tonight, and Battier/Wade were big. Ginobili struggled near the end (although he had a decent statline), Green/Parker disappeared, and Duncan/Leonard played their hearts out.

Can't wait for next NBA season, Bulls vs. Heat playoff matchup is going to be so juicy.
