Need help

Honestly, I wouldn't put it that this is the wrong section to post. But anyway over the years I have been hit in the head a lot whether it was some asshole purposely throwing a basketball at my head, or once even falling on cement cycling head first. I think I have brain damage cause honestly I seem to be forgetting lots of things, and I have been doing poorly in school compared to just a few years ago. I told my parents it's possible, but they always seem to think that it's not true and don't actually listen to it being a possibility.

 

It may well be a possibility. You should go to a doctor if you think that's what's happened, you know your body and if you're positive something is wrong then it probably is.

As Roary stated, if you feel like there's something wrong it never hurts to get it checked out, here in Australia if you have a medicare card it's only $20 to see your doctor, and for the risk of your health I say anyone care spare $20.

Even if you're under 18, at the age of 16 you're legible for a medicare card so you don't need your parents!

 

I would recommend consulting a doctor or a psychiatrist. While it is possible, it is also possible that it is just a psychological block you have. But please, dont seek out more advice, go see a doc. It might be becoming worse, who knows? you need a diag

No I don't smoke weed or do any drugs, and have no alcohol use whatsoever so don't ask.

 

Head injuries are no joke. Even if the memory loss isn't related to any injury, you should still see a doctor about that.

 

Also, I live in America and I am a minor so I can't just go to the doctor.. I need my parents.

 

Get your parents to take you. I doubt they'll deny you access to a doctor.

If they do for some reason, don't you have a school nurse or something?
