WARNING - Phishing

Someone just tried to Phish me on skype with a phisher that many of you may fall for.

I myself didn't even notice it was with a V UNTIL it told me I had to log in.

PLEASE NOTE:
Sythe.org DOES NOT have a time-out feature, therefore you will NEVER be requested to log in to sythe.org to PM if you are already logged on sythe.

BE VERY CAREFUL AND WARNED:

The person's IP that tried to phish me:

75.172.142.55

The page has been altered since I caught him, so if you try that link it will give you an broken URL, but it was a 16-post member's fake profile.

To Prove the website DOES Exist & picture of my converation with the person:

Can't you legally get sites like this taken down if they are illegal law breaking sites? Thought Richard would have to file the report if it can be done.

 

I'm quite sure it can be done, but that's for Richard to handle.

 

I remember just un tried getting that site taken down, not sure if he succeeded and someone put it up again. It belonged to someone well known here can't remember who but he tried pardoning a few months back.

It's sad because no matter how much warning you give out, people will get scammed by this.

I'd clean your computer by the way too if you actually clicked the link, because even clicking a link can give you something.

 

I talked to the person, he is actually a lot more clever than you'd think and his itents aren't to scam a couple of bucks through this phishing stuff.

I know why he is doing it and I'm certain my computer was not harmed.

And yes. Most if these warnings are useful to some, but others don't even read it, or still manage to get phished / hacked / scammed etc.

 

What other intentions would someone have if they set up a phishing link from a black market site where people are constantly buying/selling?
