How does this work?

Do you want to gamble your money but don't want that anxious 50-50 chance of winning? For just a small price of 5m Oldschool RSGP, you can enter in our raffle for the chance to win 20m Oldschool RSGP! You may be asking yourself, "how does this raffle work?" We will be using http://random.org/ to randomly select our lucky winners (yes, I did say winners). In example, if you put 5m Oldschool RSGP into our raffle and won first selection for 20m Oldschool RSGP, you will have to bet 5x (100m Oldschool RSGP) before being able to withdraw your winnings. If you have won second or third selection (which may vary with each raffle depending on how many entries we receive), you will have to bet 2.5x your original 5m deposit (12.5m Oldschool RSGP) and your prize combined before being able to withdraw your winnings. Have you won nothing? No worries! If you end up winning nothing, you still must wager 1.5x your original 5m deposit (7.5m Oldschool RSGP) before being able to withdraw your original 5m deposit or any other winnings.​

I love the way you create a confusion and try to use the word staff. OT, this looks like a big scam. Why do you have to keep betting huge amounts of money when you've won the first round?

I don't know, I'm not into gambling and maybe it's me but it would be better if you could put it in simpler terms for gambling noobs like myself.

 

If you're trying to be successful on a large forum like sythe, simplification is key.
To most people the tl;dr is give you lots of money to hold with little to no chance of winning.

 

Yeah honestly this is some bullshit. I had signed onto this system to collect and payout bets, but this 1.5x betting requirement to be able to withdraw, the 1-3 business day payout policy (makes absolutely 0 sense why there is a 3 BUSINESS delay on a payout from a dude at his computer. This isn't some 9-5 corporation) And this lottery is stupid as hell. I have never in my history on sythe seen such a poorly constructed scheme to rob users of their money. I have to buy a ticket, I don't know my chance of winning because you don't tell me, and if I do actually win, I have to make bets of 5x what I won in order to get what I won. In what universe does this make any kind of logical sense?

I also love the "Have you won nothing? No worries! We'll still shaft you because you won't be able to withdraw the money you put in until you bet 150% of what you deposited. Yes, you actually need to bet MORE than you put in in order to see some kind of payout. Oh and I hope you don't mind waiting 3 days if you request a payout on Friday, because for some unknown reason we only operate on a business-day payout schedule."

Now maybe this is instead one of those things where players are awarded bonuses at no cost and there's a playthrough balance that they have to work through to cash out. That's decent-ish. But to take in deposits and REQUIRE users to bet 1.5x what they put in. Again, that means that they actually have to bet more than they deposited to see any kind of payout, not to mention the 1-3 business day wait time.

I understand gambling systems work by giving themselves an advantage, but you've gone too far with this. And yeah, what you're doing isn't against site rules but I would strongly encourage you to rethink this payout and playthrough policy to keep things at least somewhat fair

 

This has to be yet the worst gambling thread I've ever seen.
Who on earth would do this? The changes of a player winning something (TWICE IN A ROW) are way to small.

This is kind of a rip off, you might want to revise your way of working and make it a bit more interesting for people.

 

I thought the point of a raffle (read "giveaway" in this context) was that lots of people get a large chance to win a small thing? Not you guys taking money off people hoping to god that nobody wins a big prize

 

so let me get this straight, its called a raffle, but i have to pay 5m to have a chance to win 20m, and ontop of that i also then have to bet more money to withdraw?
