Scam Archive Reference Program - [LOOKING FOR HELP]

Yeah it's very boring, I have done 62/2000 reports so far, good many of them are vaders so they dont require alot of effort. I'll have more free time next week, I think until 1st week of June I'll be done

 

Well, at least it will be good to further add records in the paypal blacklist

The program is more aimed at referencing the past, not the very recent. More so people that are coming back after a year (for example) with the same contact information on a vading account. Although once we get caught up, maintaining the list would not be hard. I imagine a group of people could easily do it. I could even manage it myself since there is only maybe a page of scam reports a day.

I wouldn't take it to heart if people were to brand the program "unreliable" because at the end of the day it is better than nothing.

 

Gold2Bank would (if needed) contribute to any form of data entry tasks required if there was some great details/instructions provided.

Not to rain on your parade, but wouldn't it be easiest to implement a "search for [OR] terms" into our own search box? There are so many to archive, and even more to add in the future.

 

We're getting through them at an alright pace, me and KMJT are up for keeping it up to date also. Might as well see how it goes ^_^

 

Isn't that what google does? Majority of scam reports have the information we need in the screenshots, so a simple search like google does not suffice.

This is a great Idea as I was just scammed by someone who scammed a couple days ago and wasn't banned...

Sythe search box doesn't even work for me. When it did, it sucked. Google is better.

 

I'll help with this. Don't really see the point though - all this will do is encourage scammers to create accounts that don't show up on the program. I mean, they can access it - if any of their info shows up they'll just make a new Skype/pp/rsn

 

You'd be surprised how many scammers don't bother changing their information. Something like pp information is also difficult to change, they generally don't let you create new paypal accounts and you can't go about changing the name assigned to the one you create without difficulty

 

They'd be much more likely to change their information once they download this program and see a heap of scam reports attached to their details, though. Agreed that paypal is the most difficult to change

 

Add seconds mail, make it primary. Done within seconds. Not sure if it's able for personal account tho.

However I like the idea. I might contribute with our complete chargeback list from Paypal accounts to prevent others being scammed.

If people filled out a specific form when writing a scam report, and then the mods in charge of the scam report would press "approve" on it if the report was successful. This would upload the information already filled out on the form to the database.
