Thoughts?

Seem's like he's gonna be another annoying champ to target, that's quite durable. Similar to Kha or Zed.

 

Actually I'm very interested in playing this champ. I thought it was going to be a stupid idea but when I saw the champ spotlight I told myself I would save up to get him.

 

Can't wait to play him. Seems like he fits my play style very well

 

Can you believe how annoying it will be when you stack Attack Speed/Life Steal on him and use his W? You could pretty much stand there and auto-attack and just heal.

 

Wow he seems really OP. That passive is amazing I would think in lane phase.

 

Blade of the Ruined King will create some good synergy with his steroids, he may even be one of the only champs aside from Olaf perhaps, too actually make use of the Maw of Malmortius passive.

 

OP now getting nerfed soon.

 

I think the Champion Spotlight isn't a very good tool to measure a champs strength. Though I agree his kit is pretty strong, keep in mind that the Spotlight videos are meant to make a champion seem appealing.

 

He'll definitely be interesting to play as with his blood price/thirst feature.

 

Reminds me of a mixture between Kha and Tryn

 

He looks absolutely broken. He's got Xin's W passive as a toggle that can also be used for damage, a Zac E except he's got an untargetable frame, and he looks to have Tryn's damage with the durability of Darius. We'll see..

 

Kayle/Voli=Passive
Tryndamere=Blood Rage

He's pretty much sustainable. I'll try to build him offtank with high damage.

 

im gonna stay away from him until I see how other players play with him, cbf waisting my points for a champ that could be broken

 

Atroxx is insanely strong/OP earlygame, even late. His passive, heal and escape kit make it extremely hard to gank/kill him.

 

Hes a really beast champ, I'm playing with him while on Sythe but one thing hes really OP which is epic you can score easy kills with Aatrox really great champion and worth the buy.

 

His passive makes first blood tower dives too damn stronk. Check them out when u get a chance.

 

As with every other melee carry Riot has in the game (and I mean melee carries in the vein of Yi and Tryndamere), he will be a god at low levels of play and be completely useless anywhere above it. The closest things we've ever had as truly viable melee carries are Kha'Zix and Zed and those two aren't steroid-filled AA fiends.

Riot needs to learn that they can't add a melee carry into the game that's braindead easy to play (see: right click) AND good. The only way we'll ever have a damn good melee carry would be if he required more than right clicking (Kha'Zix and Zed) AND didn't suck complete ass. I predict buffs for Aatrox, followed by nerfs, then a complete lack of attention for months until someone finds out just how to play him. Then more nerfs.

 

The point of AA-heavy melee carries (Fiora, Yi, Tryn, etc.) in the current meta is for split pushing. Master Yi and Tryndamere are some very scary split pushers if done correctly. I've been AD-Yi with 4 of them dancing on our middle inhib turret. I teleported to a wave top and took 2 towers and half of an inhibitor before they were able to back and stop me. Melee AD "carries" typically have the movespeed, raw attack damage, and gap closers that are needed to split push effectively, and if lategame you are still trying to KS champions with them you're doing it wrong.

 

There are champions that can split push better and offer better utility. They're outclassed at their own role in the current meta and their role in the game.

 

I've played this champion on BETA. He is just another OP Nerfed champion.
