    why do people buy strung gold amulets?
    so they can add a gem to it and turn it into possibly ruby amulet or dragonstone amulet then enchant them to str amulet or glory :)

    You can't 'add' gems to them once they're made.. people buy them for alching

    You can alch them? What's the profit loss per alch/what's the price on them

    why do people buy strung gold amulets?
    they alch for 210gp and you can buy them for around 100-150 gp...so you'll lose 100gp or so (including nats)
