Banned for RWT

Right Guys.. My Main Account got Banned for RWT...

But i have never ever RWT via my main account at all - now i do not know what to do to maybe attempt to get my account back..

P.S. I have appealed it and its still pending.

Any ideas guys?

 

Fagex are just idiots mate, i had the same problem and appealed too. They denied it, what did you write in the appeal?

 

Did you trade your mule from your main? Did you ever log on the same IP on both accounts? Just because you have never bot/sold/gambled on your main doesn't mean they won't ban it if you did it on another account

 

That does not seem logical..what if you logged into a public place of a RWT'er? Or your brother is one? There's no way they can ban just off IP alone. If that is their logic, it is asinine logic.

People are banned on Sythe for IP matches. You can lookup the IP and figure out if it is a big public network or not.

As for whether or not it is your brother, it's not like Jagex is going to call your house and ask to talk to each family member to know which one to ban.

 

The "it was my brother excuse" pops up on Sythe a hell of a lot... It could be someone's brother, but 99.99999% of the time it's just their other account.

I've botted on my main for years, maybe 10 years now.. I've also bought over 1B over that time and I haven't been caught. Really it's just luck IMO.
But yeah they can check if an ip is a public network or not. So chances are they won't believe you unless you come up with some amazing/believable story.

 

Yeah they go off IP, my friends pure was banned for RWT and so was his skiller and main at the same time.

 

Jagex is retarded and does bans solely based on ips now. I got a brand new vps a week ago, created a fresh account, and boom banned for macroing even before I was able to skip the EOC tutorial. I had to just assume the vps was tarnished by another RWTer in the past and was now flagged.

 

As long as you keep your main PERFECTLY CLEAN then you're usually in the clear.

 

Jagex can't be retarded, but some of their decision making is a little off key, such as banning purely based on same IP accounts, which of course could be your brother, however that is a popular excuse as someone mentioned.

My suggestions: get in contact with Jagex and tell them your situation via email... appeals are incredibly useless because I've never come across someone which has been successful at one. Tell them situation and how you think you're VPS is 'tarnished', of course if you have ever traded to a mule then there is no excuse.

 

All in all to the OP, say your goodbyes to your account.

 

That is sad as hell man. First off, Jagex aren't too concerned with people buying gp, they ban those that sell.

Look at all the high profile dicer bans like fishy? I'm pretty sure they haven't banned accounts for buying, not at least at this point in the game where they are on life support and need all the paying members.
