I knew the Heat would pull it off. Bosh and Wade finally stepped their game up.

And HHN, I've been a Heat fan since ~2004 (Long before Lebron and Bosh).

The Heat are going to win it all again. I love the Spurs, but they can't handle Miami. In the end, however, I don't care what team wins. I like both of those teams. I'd like the "big 3" of San Antonio to get another ring, and same goes for LeBron.

I have to disagree. Obviously it could go either way but the Spurs match up too well and they have a way better coach. I don't understand what you mean by the Spurs can't handle Miami. The Spurs can't handle LBJ would be a better fit. If Miamis role players continue playing how they have all playoffs, and assuming SA plays how they've been playing, spurs in 4.

A main factor will be the shooting of Miami role players such as Ray Allen, Battier, Mike Miller, and Chris Bosh. If they change how they've been playing all playoffs long and shots go in, it will make this series a little more interesting.

Since D Wade has been hurting, Tony Parker might be able to hide on him on defense. If Wade looks like the Wade of old, the Spurs will put one of they're long, athletic defenders on him and shut him down. I think the Spurs will make Lebron win this series, and that hasn't worked before. (See 2007 NBA Finals)

I don't think Tim Duncan can be contained by Bosh or Birdman. SA has players that can get under Birdmans skin and get that white trash ejected or something. If Matt Bonner can irritate Dwight Howard and Z-Bo, it will be fun to watch him battle down low, even though hes absolute trash inside the 3 point line.

Also, in the ECF, we saw how Miami is an overrated defensive team, especially when it comes to pick and roll. And the Spurs just happen to use the pick and roll most efficiently in the nba. The Heat like to double on pick and rolls, leaving a man wide open. That + the spurs ball movement = wide open practice shots.

Manu Ginobili needs to go all out attacking the rim rather than settling for 3s.

It will be interesting to see if Tony Parker can score with ease in this series like we are used to seeing. The Heats only chance in containing him is to put Lebron on him. And with the numerous amount of screens the Spurs set, I imagine Lebron chasing him around all game, he'll lose a lil bit of his legs.

All in all, the Spurs, in my opinion, are the better team with more depth. (and if your bring up the 27 game win streak in protest, you haven't watched the playoffs)

As for series prediction, I think it depends on the rust factor, although I have Spurs winning regardless. Unless LBJ has the series of his life.

Spurs in 6 with rust from 9 day break.
Spurs in 5 if they come out in rhythm game 1.

    Lebron 39 ppg series.

Hopefully all exciting games. No blow outs please!

And if the Heat lose, it's going to be real tough for Lebron to compete with players like Jordan, and hell even Kobe when it comes to a greater career.

1 ring in 4 final appearances?! yikes.

Heat in 6 or 7. If Bosh is getting boards and Wade is shooting over 50% consistently we won't loose the series. Spurs are definitely a strong team to beat with some big veteran players, they will probably shake Miami up playing playoff basketball compared to the regular season.
Sucks that if the Heat loose Lebron will take the blame...

You're basing too much of your argument on the previous series against Indiana. Sure, the Heat didn't look like what we're used to seeing, but that's given when Indiana is probably the worst matchup they could have faced in the entire playoffs. Miami isn't a good rebounding team, and the second chance points, and such, killed them. Indiana went 2-1 against the Heat, and the Spurs went 0-2, how do the Spurs match up well against them? Sure, Popovich is a better coach than Spoelstra, but in the end of the day, Miami is more talented. Miami's role players have played great in the first two series, and the ECFs was the only series in which they struggled in. That's largely due to Indiana's suffocating defense, after all, they don't rank first in the league in that aspect for nothing. San Antonio is a good defensive team, but they aren't on Indiana's level in that area. I expect Miami's role players to play much better.

Wow, you are underestimating the defending world champions, you can't really believe the Spurs can make the Heat only win one game...? The most realistic way the Spurs can win is in seven games, to be honest. I'm going with the Heat in 6 or 7.

Rings don't matter, give me LeBron over anyone else anyday.

How exactly do you get posterized when you're behind somebody? Not sure why 2nd rate superstar is in quotations either, Thiago Splitter is garbage compared to the other players the Spurs have.

My bad guess I was wrong. And second rate just meaning he's good but he's 2nd rate as in not a primary player..more of a role player. And not even the best role player for the Spurs at that, I'd give Danny Green that honor.
