Just a warning to everyone so this does not happen to you. If you see a vending machine that looks fully stocked (aka beautiful), DO NOT BUY. It is clearly a tactic to give the impression that the vending machine can be trusted. Vending machines in this state cannot be trusted. If you put in a $20 bill, you will not get any change back. So be warned unless you like paying $20 for your chocolate -.-

also i'm pretty sure all vending machines tell you that they don't except bills over 5/10 dollhairs.

i'm not even joking when i say this vending machine scammed me. it is not hard to program the vending machine to just spit the bill back out if there is not enough change to give me the correct amount of change -.- and what kind of vender doesn't leave any change in his machine at all? i didn't even get a quarter back. clearly the vender knows that if someone puts in a bill and there is no change he is going to profit.

and my university is isolated from society. it would take me 4 hours to get to a store lol
