Cold Shower 30 Day Challenge

I was reading an article on cold showers, and I decided to actually take part in seeing how good taking cold showers really are in the end of the day. I will be doing my best to take the cold shower challenge for the next 29 days (for I did it today already).

If you really want to man up, keep making it colder every day, that's what I'm doing. I guess the most manned up would be start on coldest, but I could never.

 

hmm are you sure this can work? Wouldn't taking a cold shower just give you a cold? also please embedded your youtube video, a lot of people don't like clicking links

i tried cold showering before and it felt like my shampoo wouldnt rub into my hair very well because of the cold water, idk it was weird as fuck

also extremely cold

 

I do agree with him when he says "if you cant be uncomfortable for 5 minutes alone how can you deal with other situations". But living in canada and having winter and forcing myself to go outsite at -35 to shovel the driveway is just the same. Its a psychological thing to be honest. Instead of taking a cold shower do something small that might scare you.

 

I have taken many cold showers and they fucking suck compared to hot showers. I will not be doing this challenge but gl m8

Although the benefits seem really up there, especially improving skin and hair which is something I'd never say no to, but for the price of a cold shower ehh I don't know! I love sitting under the hot water for a good 30+ minutes, I think I'd be finished my shower in under 5 minutes if it was cold.

 

Lol, at everyone scared of doing it in here.

Summer time I do ice cold showers as they help blood flow and i have a naturally lower body temp.

Winter time i take Steamy hot showers, as Minnesota can get very fucking cold, especially when the wind blows. I'm not about the cold shower life then.

 

i take cold showers when its super cold. cold weather + cold shower = immunity. i

 

i'll do this with you.

 

I'm gonna try this for a week, will post with how it goes. I know my showers will only take about 5 minutes now.

I'm really not losing out by having a nice, warm shower. I'm sure the benefits aren't that spectacular or I'd have heard of this before lol

We still had a foot of snow on the ground in May. If It hits above 45 i have my shirt off.......

Cold is like 0 and below. With a 20 MPH wind.

Nipples get so hard they can cut diamonds.

I might give it a go tomorrow, I'm a big fan of my hot showers though. So relaxing after a long day!

 

I take cold showers regularly when it's warm outside. It's great for your skin and sperm production. Can't really vouch for any of the other stuff listed. Already have a great immune system (dad hasn't been sick since the 80's and I only get sick every 4-5 years), I'm not fat, good breathing, etc.
