Epic bot not safe use powerbot

I just downloaded epic bot today and scanned my computer for viruses. I found a Trojan in the epicbot_setup file. Luckily It didn't do anything to my computer but I also downloaded powerbot and that works fine. I haven't been ban yet and it hasn't given me any viruses so use powerbot instead of epicbot. Has anyone else gotten viruses from epicbot or is it just me?

 

Epicbot is a very popular and widely used bot that's been around for many years. There are hundreds if it thousands of people who use it daily. I Assume that this is a false b positive from your virus scanner, which scanner do you use?

 

this also I haven't used epicbot in a while but I know in the past if you were dumb enough to accept the hidden add-ons in the downloader you would get virus's this may be the cause as well make sure they didn't trick you and sneak something past you in the downloader

and no the downloader adds have nothing to do with epicbot so don't blame them if that's the case.

 

This, don't accept the addons, there installer is bat shit crazy.

 

Lol its clean. i've used it since 2011. Never been hacked.

i used kaspersky as my virus protection and i scanned my computer right after i downloaded epicbot and it found a trojan. i used the same bot a year ago and it was fine but this time it said it had a virus

 

i just downloaded it again because i like epic bot better power bot but when i scanned the file i had the same problem. It said it had a trojan. so i think im just going to use power bot

 

The installer contains malware. You can choose it if you want to install it.

 

Yeah epicbot was never safe I always stuck with PB

 

Never liked epic-bot to be honest :/ Fletching script hacked my bank and left me with nothing..
