High Alching for Profit(Or low loss)?

Hey guys, just started 07 scape and got 55 magic today, now I'm looking for some good things I can alch.


If you have something I can alch and don't want to let everyone know you can pm me, or reply here.. It would be greatly appreciated <3 :love:

 

Alching yew longs=~3.8gp/xp
Superheating iron ore=~2.6gp/xp

Superheating iron ore can get you about 90k magic xp an hour, people don't realise alching isn't that great.

 

I'd rather make a majority of my money back rather than pure loss.

 

I did the math, it's statistically faster and cheaper to enchant to 94 from 55 with a Mud Staff..

Just a heads up.

 

There isn't anything you can get in large quantities to alch for no loss.

 

Green d'hide bodies, if you craft them. Amazing craft xp too.

 

Superheating Iron ore sounds like a great idea to me

 

Currently the Eco of 2007RS is based on botters cutting logs and fletching (flax pickers etc) so once the demand of bows go down(bots dump supplies) than, there will be little/no cost to alching.

But you'd have to wait 4-5 months.

 

Not sure I understand what you mean here.

Both methods lose money but superheating loses less per gp AND its quicker.

So at the end of 99 magic if you started with 50m, you would have more left if you superheated than alched.

 

Do willow longbow(u)'s its less loss than yew longs and you can a loooad more

 

If you smith the iron that you superheated, into iron knives - you will only lose 60gp per cast.
