why do people hate dg so much?

Just a quick question for sythe users: why does everyone seem to hate dungeoneering so much? In my opinion, dungeoneering is the most engaging skill in the game, and the only reason I still play. It's really a fun logic puzzle game, if you are keying, you must direct and organize the floor in a manner that is most efficient, so thus you complete the floor faster. In my opinion, there's nothing more enjoyable and satisfying than doing speeds and getting a sub 6 floor.

 

I hate mini games and hate the runescape community. If I wanted to organize a group of toddlers, I`d apply for a job at a daycare.

 

The competitive dg community is really cool if you get to know them, and are anything but toddlers

 

I was a hardcore dger pre-eoc, I'm 120 dungeoneering.

EOC ruined it completely though.

It was really fun though, I made around 3-5b from selling floors..

 

I know, floors are faster, but, in a way, the macro aspect of dg is really ruined. Switching attack styles, prayer flicking, ring switching, and dps of different binds are now completely irrelevant. Eoc really did help s/l dg though.

 

i love dungeoneering, with around 125m xp myself, 50m of which was 0 prestige selling 2s3l floors, and yeah getting a record with some friends over skype is awesome

 

I 200m'd before EoC. It was fun as hell.

Although, dg died when s/l was at its apex

 

I have 120 dunge, I loved the skill pre-eoc.

One thing that makes people hate dunge is the learning curve and the torturous exp rates before you can get to high floors.

Most people quit the skill at 80, when they get their first chaotic, which ironically is where the skill starts to improve substantially.

 

I don't hate dungeoneering it just get's long and dragged out. although I do enjoy exploring new floors etc

 

I kinda hated the skill, I did 1-80 legit and then did 80-105 with Kiko's bot

 

Why every one forgot to mention sinkhole, it's an absolutely nice way to get dg level up even if you are a dumb.

 

Personally I don't like slow skills.. And dg is rather slow IMO.

 

I didn't mind dg. Was going for 200m before eoc came out. Just hated playing with noobs.

 

Just at low levels, it is 1m+ exp/h at higher levels. Dunge is the most recently released skill, but it trumps all other skills in amount of people with 200m exp.

 

I was never keen on it at first, what with the low experience rates and dung'ing with randomers that probably couldn't spell my name, never mind communicate effectively within a dungeon.

However, I've hit 85 now and already see the dramatic increase in experience rates. The key factor is who you dung with though. I dung with a group of close friends that are level 100+ in dung, and it's so much more fun being with people you know/respect, as opposed to random kids.

 

Dung community like most PVM and serious mini games community are great, Dung is not that bad just first 60 levels can be quite annoying if you dont know what your doing or with a team who does not have patience for questions and slower players

 

That's true, I got mostly my level with the glitch that happened on the first day of releasing EOC. There was some bug that make all the moster in the dungeon has level 200 and only have 10 hp.

 

i love it. it's fun.

 

This, I hate doing it with anyone except a certain person.
I don't mind dungeons they're just long and dragged out, and I guess I lose interest in grinding stuff easy.

I do enjoy doing a few though every so often, just for fun.

 

DG is awful.
