The Truth About Botwatch From Inside Info?

Well. Not naming any names but a close contact with mine, his sister worked for Jagex in Cambridge as "Web designer". or something along those lines.

What she claims 'The truth' about botwatch;

Jagex has employed a team of around 20, (most being polish)

Now when someone submits a report, these polish mods, are invisible, don't appear on maps etc. and they watch you secretively.

If they have reason to suspect you are botting, they ban you.

Does she sound legit?

 

I think highly unlikely.

Due to the number of reports that are submitted each day, I dont think 20 mods could cover this.

 

I mean its possible, just all rumors.

Look at how long it takes for someone to get banned being obvious. Or how short it can be.

 

just because they think you are botting, doesn't mean they can ban you lol, they need to interact with you somehow, to see if you are there or not, and or botting...

This sounds 100% bogus. They woudn't attack botters that way.

 

Why Polish? Jagex is based in the UK. Hiring only Polish people would be profiling and subject to a lawsuit.

 

he maybe meant Polish people Doing their dirty work like Mexicans are doing The American's dirty work by being their maid or the Polish people in Sweden who are renovating our houses. if you get my point.

 

Uh, no. They did do the "if he looks like a bot" thing with RS07, but if they had 20 people working on it addressing bots, all of RS would be bot free in a week.

 

They aren't to sneaky though.
