Just got a new car

I was working at my normal job and my parents came in and told me there was this amazing deal at the Kia dealership but it ended that night.

Long story short, I buy a car 2 hours later.

My first ever new car, all fully-loaded. Going to be a HUGE change from the like 6 used cars I've owned since I received my license three years ago.

Anyway, I'm really stoked, I pick it up today. Just felt like sharing. :laugh:

 

What was the deal?
They're terrible cars, and KIA is not a good manufacturer :/

 

We ended up getting about $2,000 off with the special they were doing that week and a military discount.

Kia is great imo, my mom has driven one for years and a lot of my friends have them, everyone loves them.

 

How much was it in total, if I may ask?

Here in Australia, residents fork out exorbitant amounts of money to buy an average car, and KIA's in Australia are shit.

Obviously, it would be different in another country.

Not the most attractive car, but if you think it will get you from point A to B without any hassles then I guess it's a good choice...

By the size of that (from the picture you provided), it looks like of those one of those silly 'Smart' Cars -.-

 

It's definitely not a smart car, it may just look like it from the angle. Here's another angle of it:



Neither of these pictures are exact, I don't have the chrome plating in the front like in the first picture, but I do have fog lights unlike this picture above.

 

Well as long as you are happy Mike, that's all that matters.

Personally I'm not a fan, I'd go for something smaller & cheaper to run

Bit expensive for a first car if you ask me $16k ouch!
I'm not really into the style, but as above said as long as you're happy with the way it gets you from point A to point B.
The inside looks really nice though~

And personally I hate Kia's but atleast it's a brand new car. Doesn't even look that bad compared to some other Kia's.

 

Very nice for a first car IMO. The interior is nice, though I prefer a more aggressive body style.

It looks great, does this one have the smart parking thing? That it automatically parks for you? Wish I had this one, I don't need the quickest ugly looking ones, this one has some luxury feeling I guess?

I'm not sure about prices, but I THNK that for the same price you coulda got a Hyundai i10...Small, efficient, looks good, etc...

Kia has been really hit and miss with our family. Nice looking ride there though! Not sure if I could justify spending that much on a rig (right now on my budget) though.
