PLease tell me someone told me invest in things worth very little like $6 per share w/e i tried that investing in ANAC some pharmacy company went good i got up to $240k which put me in fourth place over all in my class out of 40 ppl so i was like really ahead in the competition but the stock crashed lost lke 4000

 

Guys its goign good im still top 5 in my class right now for this stocks competitin i just stick to very low stocks lke the one im currently in that is $6 for a share so if it goes up even a little i have like 35k shares in it all my money just goes up so fast

 

I had to do the same thing a while ago. Daytrade SINA and you'll make a ton. It has fairly recognizable daily patterns.

Or just go all in shortselling apple.

you'll either make or break your bank with these methods.

 

Penny stock is your best bet here.

I'd have slammed quite a bit into the fast and furious franchise and pulled out after 2-3 days.

I hate when schools do competitions like this. It doesn't teach anything. You're speculating not investing. You posted on the previous page that you were buying stocks that went down which is a legitimate strategy. Look for stocks that went down due to fear and you can flip the same day for profit. Only problem is that you need to make sure that it was in fact oversold and won't continue to go down. I didn't look but I doubt you can trade penny stocks on whatever papertrading platform you're on.

Biotech stocks can shoot up like crazy if you look up ones that are being reviewed by the FDA. If they're approved they can move quickly, denied and the stock price can dive hard.


Basically if you want to win you need volatility. Realize that you may end up in last place. If that effects your grade then make more conservative investments.

 

It's play money right? Just invest in whatever and have fun...

That being said , most large companies will turn a slow but steady profit (Pepsi, McDonalds, IBM, whatever)

 

yeah cold rush i noticed thast i dumped all my money into ANAC some really low cost which is working wl for me but i have like 1000 shares in mircosoft as well because i always get money in that but very slow

GO 20k into gold, 50k into silver, then various other areas lol..

 

invest in silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! research it, i guarantee you it will be worth it

there are numerous articles on why you should invest in silver.. its better than gold
