    Fun Multiplayer Games?

    Looking for multiplayer, be it MMORPG to FPS, I'm looking for a fun experience.

    RS off the list, grinding that shit for years now. I've been playing alot of CS 1.6.

    Hows Guild Wars 2?
    or Far Cry 3?
    or Crysis 3?
    or Black Ops 2?
    or WoW MOP?
    or Tomb Raider?
    or Dishonored?
    or LoL?

    Can't go wrong with Arma wasteland :D and if that's not your style you could always play around with some of the free shooters out there like Combat Arms or TF2.

    I'm not sure if you'd really be into these games, but they're like *anime* runescape but not with the grinding skills.

    Maple story
    Neverwinter
    and if you're thinking about games like BoP I would look into DayZ

    Fun Multiplayer Games?

    I'll give you a rundown of how good games are single player versus what you want (multiplayer):

    Far Cry 3 is a great single player experience, but not too fun online.
    Borderlands 1 + 2 is lots of fun to play with friends, and boring solo player.
    Madden Arcade + NHL Arcade if you like Sports games, cheap and VERY fun online.
    I've never played League of Legends or World of Warcraft, but it obviously has a cult-like following and you may enjoy them.
    Crysis 3 is great solo and online.

    If you want an incredibly rewarding and fun single player experience, I reccommend these titles:
    Bioshock 1/ 2 /Infinite (1 is the best imo, 2 has multiplayer which isn't too bad)
    Skyrim
    Dishonored

    You'll get a lot of mixed reviews, it's really something that you probably need to try for yourself. But that game too, has a ton of fans. I have personally not gotten to try it. I actually once went to the gamestop to buy it and ended up going with another title. Do you know how much it costs to play? I want to say it's free online, isn't it? If it is, I would try it...the game itself probably is pretty inexpensive.

    Fun Multiplayer Games?

    Depends on your preference/favorite style of multiplayer games, ya know?

    For an MMO, though people think it's over-hyped, over-played, or "bad", World of Warcraft is one to look at. Used to use it as a fall-back any time. Don't really recommend it unless A) You have a friend to play with you, or B) You can get into a sociable/active guild as soon as you can, and make friends as soon as possible, cause it's one of those games you wanna play with a buddy, or people you like to game with.
    *funfact: A lot of WoW-shittalkers don't realize the skeleton for the MMORPG they play stems from WoW, heheh. :p

    To read more about World of Warcraft:
    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/ *Adjust the 'na' at the beginning to whatever needed, or just remove it, I suppose, haha

    Another cool MMORPG is Aion. Massive, EXTRAORDINARILY MASSIVE guild wars (some smaller, some a decent size, but I'll just testify they are often huuuuge, based on the fact I was a participant in a 200v200 (pre-scheduled) Legion (guild/clan) war. Of course there's a lot more to the game than the PvP, because they have a VERY social/team-oriented PvM setup later on in the game (closer to the near max/max level content). The game costs only a base amount of ZERO DOLLARS! When Aion released their expansion, "Ascension" ("sequel" to Tower of Eternity), they went truly-free, no restrictions, no strings attached. Of course like any game, you can spend real life money on cool looking items/wings, and in some cases, SLIGHTLY game-enhancing things. Click HERE to see, it's nothing overpowered/game-breaking.

    To read more about Aion:
    http://na.aiononline.com/en/ *Adjust the 'na' at the beginning to whatever needed, or just remove it, only there for the hyperlink!

    Now, if you like a game that focuses on repetition/determination for getting the good items/an "increasingly difficult to complete the same tasks" gameplay type, or a game with honestly, POTENTIAL to make pretty good money from (all legal/legit thanks to a real-money auction house/gold-selling-house[haha]!), Diablo 3 is a pretty cool game to look into. You can either run solo, or in groups. If you ever played any other Diablo (D1, D2, D2: Lord of Destruction), or any of that, you know it's all based on ONE town per Act, each Act a little more difficult, and so on. The game has 4 different modes to play through, which is where the "repetition" factor comes in, but each mode is basically NECESSARY to play to get the full experience of playing (also, harder difficulty? better loots, better loot chances, etc., so shiiiit, why not? l0l).

    Personally, I got burned out pretty quick (well, I had each class to max level[60], if you consider that "pretty quick", haha, had to test the waters on 'em all!). Just not my style of gaming, but if I were into something similar a little more, this would be top of the line, for sure.
    Shit, then you throw in the potential of making actual cash money from it, all with the developer's consent/no ban risk/etc.? Fuckin' yeah. Haha.

    To read more about Diablo 3:
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/ *Adjust the 'na' at the beginning to whatever needed, or just remove it, again, just the hyperlink thing!

    For FPS games, not to sound like the "CoD hater" or whatever, but Battlefield 3 Online for the PC is truly AWESOME, especially if your specs are on point enough to allow at least high/above-medium graphics quality, AND participate in 64v64 battles. Sleek interface, well interpreted gun designs, etc. If I manage to get a new harddrive and graphics card for my *GOOD* computer, I'll definitely be hittin' that game up again. Loved it, and I'm not usually too big on FPS games - this one's just got a well-needed twist on modern releases. Also, cool feature here, not PC-only, so, variety is there.

    A really cool fantasy/medieval-style RPG, single-player, you might find really enjoyable is "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning". I don't know how else to describe this game than fucking awesome. Far better than any other single-player Fantasy-RPGs I've played. It's got dynamic combat system, with SEVERAL "breeds" of personally-created "classes", basically. (ex. I used to play a Mage-Rogue hybrid, with armor profs. up, a damn spell-casting, stealthy nigga running around that also takes less damage AND can cast effectively in decent armor? OH HELL YEAH!). You DO pick a root "Destiny", which determines what all you can do to change it up from the "norm", and come up with some cool ability combinations, proficiency combinations, etc. (Quoted, Amalur Wiki: "The Destiny System is essentially an interchangeable class system.")

    *Also, PM me if you find what you see/watch/read interesting. I have an Origin Account with this game on it, last played FOREVER ago. I'll gladly give it to ya for free, so you can explore gaming options. This really goes for anyone interested in trying this game out. Just send me a PM, and I'll reply ASAP for ya, man!*

    And now just a list of games, not gonna give full descriptions on them all, only those few that piqued my interest at some point, or still do. :p

    -Minecraft (Need I say more? 16-bit world-creation & survival. ONWARD!@#@$)
    -Spawn/PvP RSPS' (can give you just some more "enjoyment time" than "work time", heheh)
    -RIFT (WoW clone with a BUNCH of twists, but still along that note of basic MMORPG skeleton, and such)
    -SMITE (RTS https://account.hirezstudios.com/smitegame/default.aspx?ok=)
    -Tribes Ascend (MMOFPS, pretty neat)
    -Grand Theft Auto: SA-MP (Roleplaying servers [act out the role of a citizen of San Andreas, with a job, possibility of a house, etc. in most more-populated servers], deathmatch servers [servers where you just kill other players])
    -Killing Floor (Tripwire's rendition on Left 4 Dead, sorta. A little. Very good FPS/survival game!) *This is a Steam-related game, if curious* Got some "desired" features, so I'll listen 'em here:
    • Single-player
    • Multi-player
    • Cross-Platform Multiplayer
    • Co-op
    • Steam Achievements
    • Stats
    • Valve Anti-Cheat enabled
    • Includes level editor

    -League of Legends (takes a few full games to get the hang of it/get the feel for it, especially if it's not like other games you've played. After that, it's pretty fun)
    -DoTA (RTS)
    -DoTA 2 (RTS)
    -Heroes of Newerth (RTS)
    -Terraria (FUCKING AWESOME AS FUCK, RAD, GNARLY, COOL, whatever word you personally use, Indie slider action MMO! Rev of that nostalgia! Haha)
    -Planetside 2 (open-world MMOFPS)
    -Dungeons & Dragons Online (MMORPG [even if you think D&D is ridiculous when played in a basement or whatever, this MMO makes it pretty enjoyable!])
    -Lord of the Rings Online (MMORPG)
    -Team Fortress 2 (FPS with cartoon-ish graphics, but not "childish", don't get me wrong there!)
    -City of Heroes/City of Villains (same thing, only flipped, obviously lol)
    -Mortal Online (need a goddamn good computer, has a world which takes ~16 hours of constantly moving forward to reach the edge, from the starting port-city. Between those two points, TONS of shit to explore, fight, etc. Wide variety of skills and sub-skills! I'll provide a list, to perhaps get you more interested, haha:

    • Domestication
      -Creature Control
      -Taming
      -Animal Stable Construction
    • Resting
      -Active Regeneration
      -Meditation
    • Gathering
      -Mining
      -Woodcutting
    • Thievery
      -Snooping
      -Pilfering
    • Extraction
      -Basic Ore Extraction
      -Intermediate Ore Extraction
      -Advanced Ore Extraction
    • Butchery
    • Herbalism
    • Milling
    • Skinning
    • Refining

    Closest to "real life" type graphics I've ever seen in a game. Worth a try, if you're interested in something like that!)

    ~~~~~~
    Just to list a few. This is really a list for anyone looking for a mix up of games that can be pretty damn enjoyable.
    Hope someone puts this helluvalongpost to use, hopefully it helps someone have some fun :)
