Obby mauler (need slayer staff advise)

Sorry for spamming the "Runescape 2007 General" section so much lately but I could do with a little more advise about my obby mauler, I'm trying to find out how much I would be looking at spending to get from 26-55 slayer, im 1 def 1 attack so im guessing cannon would be the best way? How much would cannoning this amount of exp in slayer cost? What slayer masters shall I use? etc thanks a lot

My problem is I have 1 def and 1 attack il struggle to hit so is cannon my best bet?

 

Well, it can vary a lot, because you don't know how large or what monster you're going to get. The tasks could be fairly big.. So determining the amount of cannonballs you will use will be a complete and random estimate.

I personally think cannon will be the best bet, and calculating this would be rather difficult. How much do you have to spend? I would personally test it out...

A)Note down your XP
B) use 1k cannonballs

then calculate how much XP you gained per 1k cannonballs, then calculate how much XP is left and then you can work out how many x 1K cannonballs you will need (as a rough estimate)

Then go ahead man, get a cannon do what I said, use 1k cannonballs calculate your cost and so fourth. It is the best/fastest option for 55 slayer. Best of luck buddy, anymore questions feel free to drop me a PM or reply here!

I'd just like to say that you should definitely be attacking at all times while cannoning.

I know it doesn't seem like much difference in speed - trust me from experience it does!

 

im 40 slayer so far, Just need to sell a couple pures I have to pay for it

 

How much has it cost you, and how much is it going to cost you? did you get to work it out?

 

Choose not to work it out, If I knwq how much it was costing me I'd probably stop

 

Well it depends on how your making the build, if you plan on pking with range, just cannon it, and you'll be spending a few mill in cannonballs.

Or if you have a z nec and obby maul, you can just melee 55 slayer (that is what i'v always done for all my maulers) and it saves TONS of money but takes more than double the time.

So it's just down to:
1. If you want range xp/Spend lots of money
2. Not spend a bunch of money, but have to grind out the levels with melee.
