Right so a friend of mine asked me to make a VIP user title for their forum, this is what i made and they liked it.

What do you GFX-ers make of it ;P?

 

this looks very plain an basic an made quickly. it should be a png with a transparent bg. i thank you could of added a gold look to the vip text so it isent so plain. or maybe like a brushed mettle look that would be sweet. if you going for a simple look the flair an the smoke should be taking out. an then to finish it up you could of put a small soft bevel to give it the raised look(kinda like a button). then added a gloss over top.

Just to add to what Lucas said, the flare is blue but the design is gold/beige? Use adjustment layers to change the color of the flare. The smoke looks out of place and you could do with flipping the cash on the right side so that it doesn't look identical on both sides.

 

I agree, better text meaning maybe more 3D and the yellow doesnt go well, considering there is money in there, green is a colour that is closely associated with money so try that and also maybe a texture
