Good Pure Training Spots?

I'm building an initiate pure. My current stats are 60 attack, 56 str, 20 def, 52 prayer. I'm currently training melee at experiments but I know from 70+ str it's gonna be pretty brutal. So are there any other spots I should try? I do have about a 20m bank so maybe I can give bandits a go but I have no idea how many pray pots will be need from 70-90 str.

I was also thinking about getting a salve ammy (e) but I'd have no idea where I'd train with it. Any suggestions?

 

When I was an initiate pure, I built it around the ability to go to Yaks, although I had to give up Addy gloves to stay with Mith.. I guess because you're already 20 defense this is not an option.

Apart from that, Experiments are some of the best XP in the game, Bandits are OK but expensive, maybe even Barrows tunnels? There aren't too many good training spots for 1-20 defense.

No idea sorry, as I said I did yaks to 90+

 

Ankou with salve are pretty good. Dunno with 20 def though.

 

I would say around 1.2-1.5k prayer pots

 

Go to flesh crawlers, they're easy kill, fast experience and they are aggressive.

They also drop lots of herbs, gems and natures.

 

If you finished mm and got the reward, you can use salve in the tunnel on monkeys. Its the fastest melee exp in the game I believe.
