"the switch"

Well after sometime of believing that EoC was better than rs07 and refusing to give it a try. All it took was to see my friend playing it and then a rush of memories came flowing back. As I started playing it I realized how much better this game was than it is today. I have finally made the full switch to old school. So if you have any doubts about joining the old school revolution don't! Just do it. Totally worth it.

Let's just hope this lasts.

yah it awesome! and just the whole mechanics of the game is so much better. Also love the trading in this game lol. Kinda weird with no rares though

 

I just made the switch a couple days ago. Really enjoying it again.

 

I really hope it just lasts. I believe I read something about them doing this till sept and seeing how many people play and that will determine how long oldschool is around for? Anyone else read that?

 

They said that they might increase the price if people become inactive. Btw, rares are coming out in summer I believe.

 

I made the switch when it first came out, played for a week and hated it. The nostalgia wore off really quickly. I still keep my head in the news so I can help out on here, but I'm still a EoC player compared to OSRS.

 

I remember getting a group of 10 friends on Tutorial Island.

Rares are coming early june.

But yea, 07 is a lot better imo, eoc isn't even rs, lol.

 

I'll agree there was some nostalgia back in march, but now that they keep tweaking things to make it harder specifically for botters, it's getting away from a true 07 scape.

You can tell Jagex is running out of ideas when they remove 6 years of updates and ask children how to reinstate rares.
