There's a chance I was hacked by TRiBot...

Woke up today after running the bot last night before I went to bed, and found that everything in my inventory (~22m) was wiped from the account. Luckily, I had a bank pin set so the items in my bank weren't touched. Immediately ran a virus scan and after 4 hours it showed these results:



The last logged in IP started with 109, which is completely different from mine or the OMM whom I'm sharing the account with. I don't know what to think of this really, but I guess the reason why I am posting this is to give you guys a heads up...

Pretty sure tribot didnt hack you, i bot on 15 accs and none have been hacked, my main has 32m and my others have 100k+, none have ever been logged in by another ip address then mine and ive been botting tribot for over a month.

Your antivirus just doesnt want tribot on your system, doesnt mean its malicious

 

I too have been botting for over a month now and nothing has happened until today. Perhaps it wasn't TRiBot, but instead a script that was infected. Again, I don't want to jump to accusations here, but I'm not stupid and I know how to avoid getting keylogged. I just don't see any other possible way that this could happen.

 

Avast seems to be the only one pulling positives, so i'm assuming they're false positives. I haven't been hacked and been botting quite a lot (Pulled a 24 hour proggy in fight caves).

 

Yeah I'd use MWB, but unfortunately they don't offer that for mac users. I've been told Avast is the next best thing...

Tribot is obfuscated,
my guess is that Avast found a trojan/virus that was obfuscated with the same obfuscator and now detects all obfuscated programs as a virus.

I'm 100% sure this is a false-positive.

Gh0sT deobbed/decompiled the tribot source few days ago and it was clean.

 

You left a both running overnight with 22m in your inventory? What were you botting and why did you need $100 dollars in your inventory to do it?

 

Hey if you are using a mac and if your paranoid next time about anything like this happening I suggest you use a software called, Little snitch. Youtube, google or what ever to get informed about it and download it on thepiratebay.
You were probably using an infected script with secret connections.

iv made over 350m on 10 accounts of mine and iv been using tribot since tribot first started. Maybe something else infected on your behalf op.

 

my virus scan comes up with tribot being unsafe. but I've used it since its been out and never have had anything happen.

This is strange I've had my account completely wiped the defence raised from 1 to 2 and my Firecape dropped, ip was different and I have tribot downloaded ill do a scan today too

 

I'm pretty sure it isn't Tribot been using it for 2 months and didn't have any problems, however be careful with certain scripts, if they haven't been check there is a slight chance that there is something in the script (.class file) which connects to a hacker, if you started using any suspicious scripts lately that might be the cause.

EDIT: Same thing happened when people were using wbot, they all blamed that they were hacked by wbot, when they really got hacked by (a) certain scripter(s).

 

I have no scripts downloaded I've not even managed to buy the VIP yet
