    Raspberry Ketone: Miracle Fat Burner?

I was watching TV earlier and saw the Dr. Oz show had a rerun on of ways to loose weight fast! I have been desperately trying to loose weight since around February. In February I was 5'8" and 200 lbs, I am now 5'8" and 175 pounds, but every time I seem to get beneath 175, within a week or two, I am back up to 175.

So I was watching this show, and they were talking about Raspberry Ketone pills, 100 mg a day helps your body increase your metabolism.

I figure, if I increase my metabolism, I will see an increase in weight loss.

I can't find anything online about severe side effects if the right pills are purchased

    • *Made is the USA
*Natural is better, but not necessary
*Make sure there is no ephedrine in the pill

Has anyone tried this, or do you think I may be able to benefit from them?

I would never try pills for weight loss, because a lot of them just seem to be a hoax and wasting your time/money. You know there are natural ways to speed up your metabolism? Instead of eating 3 meals a day, you eat 5 small meals a day, whenever I used to think about weight loss I thought about eating 3 meals a day and nothing else.

The pill may work more effective, and faster but that's just me, I'd rather do things the natural way instead of taking a pill, keep me posted though if you do decide to try it and what effects it has.

I currently eat 1 large meal/day as I do not have time to eat multiple meals/day, so this is why I am looking for a new method. but thank you for your input! I will be sure to keep everyone in the loop

If you are serious about weight loss start calculating your macros and count your calories. Guessing is no good. Also even if products like this work, in the long run it is better to do it the natural way.

    pills are never the answer

    you want to lose weight?

    - get excercise ( if your not the type of guy who goes to the gym ? try goign for a walk every day or somthing)

    - maintain a right diet im not saying go full on healthy but watch what you eat. maybe lay off the junk food or limit your self to certain meals like 3 per day or somthing.

** but remember don't starve yourself that is worse then anything you should atleast eat somethin rather then not eat but pills are a no no trust me never even consider one for losing wieght

Cutting something out of your diet or taking pills will usually cut down weight temporarily but because your body isn't used to that substance in your body when you reintroduce the thing you've not eaten during your diet you'll gain most of the weight back. Essentially you're going to need to use more calories than you consume therefore you'll have to eat less and do more physical activity.

I have started walking for about 30minutes-1 hr everyday or 5 times/week minimum. I have also cut out all fast foods.

I currently do count calories and I eat about 1,500 calories a day and burn at least 300-500 at the gym everyday. What is macros?

Hey bro, cutting meals out of your diet isn't good. Instead of eating one large meal every day, try to eat regularly, but in smaller quantities. Also, do you have the app, Myfitnesspal on ios/android? It can make counting your daily macros way easier. There is no such thing as a "miracle diet" only hard work and persistence pay off.

I've never actually needed a diet, but I do know that eating healthy and eating more than 3 times a day helps with weight loss, while I'm doing it for exercising purposes. The pros of eating 5 times a day is that yo don't eat a lot and you don't eat so long. It could be just a snack, a sandwich or something that you can eat in somewhat 5 minutes or less.

The HARDEST part I found of that is that you never actually feel full and I was striving for that feel for quite a long time while trying to eat 4-5 times daily. It's better now and it's best to do it when you actually have things to do that takes your attention away from food, while still being conscious that you need to eat and also, you need to eat somewhat so that you never feel really hungry and you never feel really full. It's strange, but that's my piece of advice.
