Anyone else got hacked from tribot?

I've never been hacked before and today when I logged on I see this:



(added the extra guy to my fl to show everything is on the same acc at the same time)

Hacker deleted my fl and cleaned my bank (only 11m luckily)

Also cleaned my bank




and the most annoying part is, he claimed the mm xp:



I don't really care about losing my stuff but I really just want to know how exactly I got hacked if no one else is claiming they got hacked from prospectors. That's the only way I could of got hacked since i dont download anything my computer. Also, prospectors script became useless yesterday so this seems like perfect timing. If he did hack me, could he of keylogged me? Or did he hack me from the tribot files with my info on it?

 

You either downloaded something or used an untrusted script. I did hear some suspicious stuff about the script you used, so it could be either.

 

What did you hear about the script? I know the script itself is suspicious since a randomer made a 100% flawless script that gave great cb xp and left it for free. The only other script i used was the autofighter, can't remember its name since i deleted tribot as soon as i found out i got hacked, but alot of other people were using it

If I had a virus my paypal, email, and other rs accounts would of got hacked too. The last thing I downloaded was tribot

 

Early off (I think it was 2 days after Tribot was launched) I got hacked for 20m, back when gold was like $11/m. Anyways, I'm positively certain that I did not download anything malicious either because I'm not a retard. I also had downloaded this script and was using it at the time. I'm not accusing anyone here though, as I do not have evidence to prove it.

Did you manage to grab IP of the person that last logged on the account?

 

No because I use a vpn for staking and assumed that it had something to do with the vpn at first, but i remember the first 2 digits was 65.
I always knew something was up with tribot but since i saw only a few people were getting hacked, i wouldnt get hacked either

Mcaffee shows tribot as a dangerous website to visit, but i thought it was the competitors who marked it on purpose. One of my friends also got a notification from norton saying that tribot client is dangerous. I'm gonna virus scan my comp tonight and i'll see what shows up, but i doubt i have a keylogger

 

theres a chance that it could have happened, I currently use Tribot, and i will stop until this is resolved thanks for the heads!

 

I used tribot and since the day I've downloaded it after couple days later I get hacked & logged off my account and shutdown my laptop while I was in world 2 selling some stuff I log back in GG 8M.

 

Dude, his Script was clean, it doesn't relay information to him. You're literally the only one who got hacked and you're blaming TriBot?

 

I talked to a few other people who got hacked aswell, and the scripts we all had in common are Prospectors, and the AIO fighter by wastedbro. Also to the guy above me who i cba quoting, I'm not blaming it on tribot but i'm 80% sure it had something to do with it. Also I'm not litterally the only one who got hacked, theres at least 10+ other threads of people getting hacked with evidence lol

 

If Tribot would hack someone, they would get hundreds of accounts and they wouldn't have time for dropping bank/getting def xp etc

 

Well I highly doubt tribot themselves hacked you as they have been very cool and man'd up when their last admin tried doing some black hat activities like what has happened to you.

I would assume it was the script like your implying and if you had to accept any java applets like private auth setups etc. then yes he could have very easily gave you a keylogger and potentially anything he wants because you could have given him access to everything just by accepting.

Make sure you can trust a scripter before accepting

EDIT to everyone trying to talk like they know about antivirus's the reason they are marked as danger is because java is being used and can't be considered safe for sure and because the site is a black hat style site where anyone can post these programs.

For now I'd stick to simba until tribot has more scripts that are being widely used, it's not worth running the risks that could come with being a tester.

 

Ya'll should learn to decompile a script before crying keylogger. Most of the people who use Tribot and get "hacked" either clicked a link to an untrustable page outside the Tribot forums, or they were suckered by one of the many links being PMed by scammers there.

You may not think you have downloaded anythign malicious, but I spend 8 hours a day repairing computers of users who say the exact same thing. Except most of them are in their late 30s and beyond.

Always use common sense BEFORE clicking a link or visiting a site you've never been to. I make $12/hour fixing shit that could have been easily prevented, and we charge $100+.

Edit: I can attest that Tribot is a very safe and efficient bot to use. I use it for goldfarming and have never had a problem aside from the occasional downtime due to DDOSing.

 

So you would say the tri bot is safe to use? Like agility scripts or fishing scripts?

 

Yes they are. I can not attest for the agility scripts, as I have never used them. But NewBotterFTW's free fisher is one of the best scripts available there. In late march I was running 6 accounts on it and making 800k/hour at fishing guild. However, he soon removed support for sharks/fishing guild due to price decline.

I would also like to make one thing clear to those not java inclined: If there is no request by the bot to connect to an IP, there is no way you can get keylogged or hacked. However, and this is important, some scripts require an IP connection for updating stats/authenticating/etc. You really must use common sense before downloading anything.

It should also be noted that Tribot has able staff who check scripts for such claims. 80% of the time it's a false claim by someone who downloaded something malicious from somewhere offsite.

Final note, if you are truly worried and can't get past the paranoia that everyone here seems to suffer from, only use scripts published by those with the scripter rank. They recently made changes requiring anyone selling a script to have scripter rank, and to get this rank you must provide useful-free scripts to the community.
