Dagannoth Rex @ 60 mage, 70 def?

Soo, I've been gone for like 7 weeks after losing black mask, whip(when it was 6.6M), torso, & defender. I tried to rwt, but then the skype hackings happened & it was gone.

I'm 90 combat. I got 41-53 mage yesterday & I can use slayer dart. I scored some torag's legs from barrows and now I want to hit up rex.

I'll be getting 60 mage tonight for the mage cape from mage bank.

Would 60 mage with slayer dart & this gear be effective/profitable for rex solo'ing?

Planning getting 60-66 mage at rex, then vulnerability alching to 80 mage for charge. And hopefully I'll be able to afford guthans along with 80 mage for some serious rex slaying.

126 combat is the long term goal. That way, I'll still be motivated to do PvM after I've made enough cash for 94 mage, piety, pro gear, etc because I'll still need like ~78m for 99 prayer. Then I'll be 126 cb, so I'll feel special whenever I play & 99.9% of people will right click on me and see a red level & rs will never get boring because of that satisfaction, ha.

I would use a barrows helm since they have something like +50 defence bonus. But overall, that setup should make you profit. Whether you use a ring of life or a ring of wealth depends on your hp and how confident you are about not dying. Try a ring of life for a few trips, and when you get the hang of it, switch to a ROW

 

Replace that farseers helm with torag's and you're ready to go. I'd personally duo just incase you get hit large and need someone to speed up the kills, but it's up to you.
