color or louis vuitton experts help

Hi

Below will be a picture of a Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene billfold wallet. The wallet are checkered patterns using two different colors by LV. I was wondering what these two colors are?

 

LV say it's a chocolate coloured cross grain effect. Looks like a $300 waste of money to me.

If you're interested in the wallet I suggest otherwise. Wallets are slowly going out of trend. Clips or card pockets with clips are fashionably in. They have been for a while, soon wallets will just be completely shaded out.

Yea, i don't think i know anyone with a classic wallet anymore. All the guy friends i have use clips or pocket clips, fashionable ones though not the stainless steel ones at the gas station. Personally, i use an iPhone case with a slot in the back for my ID and creditcard.

 

i love my billfold wallet. i might switch to a credit card or a super duper slim billfold that only carries 2 credit cards per side and a billfold compartment.

credit card wallet would only be limited to 2 pockets per side and a slit on each side for folded cash. maybe a money clip outside the wallet
