Scam Archive Reference Program - [LOOKING FOR HELP]

I am going to make a program that does the following.

-Asks for input (runescape name, paypal email, msn/skype id, etc.)
-If any of these details are linked to something in the scam archive section, the user is given a message that will be displayed as well as the link to the scam report in archives. If the detail entered into the program is associated with multiple scam reports in the archive, all of those links and descriptions will be presented by the output. This program will also be convenient for catching ban evaders.

Here is an example..

A user with the Skype id "fakeskypename" wants to sell his runescape name "notrealrsn". Upon request the name seller tells the buyer that his paypal email is "[email protected]". Before doing the trade the buyer can use this program. The buyer inputs all 3 of the information. If any of the information (skype id, rsn, paypal email) is somewhere in the scam archive, the user will be linked to the scam report as well as a brief description. So if the rsn being sold was ever involved in something sketchy, the user will be linked to a report assuming someone reported it. If the skype id belongs to a scammer from 3 years ago, the user will be linked to the scam report as well as a brief description. If the paypal email was reported stolen in the past, the user will be linked to the scam report as well as a brief description.

Making the program is easy but the hard part is getting all of the information since there is approximately 1200 archived scam reports. If there are multiple people gathering information for this project hopefully it will be done in 1-2 months.

What I need is for multiple people to take assignments and thoroughly get the information from the archived scam reports. Most information will be in the pictures (assuming they aren't expired). Below are the current assignments.

When adding the information into your notepad or w/e you use please make sure it is obvious what separates each report. MAKE SURE ALL INFO IS SPELLED CORRECTLY OR NOTHING WILL SHOW UP IN THE PROGRAM If a skype id is "skypeid", do not write down "skypead" or the program will not work.



EXAMPLES

Add any and all information about the person getting reported to the format, no matter what it is. The format is just a guideline. The more information the better. Please make a thorough investigation of each report (if you can't find email in scam report for example do a quick dig and at the very least try to get the msn).

I want information from every single report. That includes ban evaders, fake vouches, and even imposter reports (like if someone were to report me when they got scammed by my imposter).

Post here (with your skype ID) if you are interested in helping. We take the information gathered very seriously. I will be doing often validation checks so if you are entering false information I will know and you will be punished accordingly (most likely banned). Giving false information will be taken very seriously. Also please make sure you take enough time to thoroughly go through each scam report and write down all of the information. Only gather information for the person being reported/accused, NOT the person reporting. Note that all information will spark a scam report link so it will not be hard to catch false information regardless.

When you add the description please make it professional since it is the message that all program users will see. Don't write "le scammer was banned for scamming"

When doing this, please work from your END thread towards your START thread. This is to keep it organized for me when you hand the information to me.


Once again, if you are caught intentionally providing false information (you will be caught because I will be doing multiple validation checks), you WILL be banned.

Just a warning to those who are eager to help, this requires dedication. It might feel like a lot when you've done 100, but 100 pages of scam reports is 2000 individual reports. You do get bored easily, but it's a target that you will need to meet. Only put your name down if you are very dedicated.

How will you maintain a list that's up to date? You will need to update it frequently - otherwise, it won't be reliable. Given the number of scam reports processed each day, that's a lot of work, and failing to update it daily will result in it being branded as 'unreliable'.

 

for the pictures, wouldn't it be a good idea to open a new official sythe imgur account or something to copy over any pictures, so they do not get lost from deletion etc?

 

Gives me something to do while browsing.. I have 1000 to do but i dont need to do it all in one go; a few per week is fine; KMJT said there was no deadline.
